Hello, I am a new member here and a huge BF/Sasquatch information lover/seeker. Anyway, I have read a number of books on the subject and in the book " Sasquatch - The Apes Among Us" by John Green he mentions that the Patterson/Gimlin Bigfoot according to Albert Ostman did not resemble his "Old Man" at all. Green goes on to point out that he showed a drawing by Patterson of a White BF described to him by someone and Ostman said that is what his looked almost identical to. Green said it was one of the most inhuman looking BF's ever drawn by Patterson. Does anyone here know where I could find or access that particular drawing by Patterson?

Also, I am curious have there ever been any artist renderings or sketchs of the Fouke Monster? I ask this because there were a fair number of people who claimed to have seen this BF and I was curious as to its facial features.

Any links, books, or other sources would be greatly appreciated on this!

Not sure which picture you're asking about but here's a site that has the old man and old woman drawings.

I've also attached another Patterson drawing.

Thanks! I think the drawing from the site is probably it. The second drawing I have seen before is kind of a copy of a Mort Kuntsler rendering redone by Patterson.

If I could only find a rendering now of the Fouke Monster!

There is a rendering of the fouke monster here, http://www.smokeyandthefoukemonster.com/Store1.html though I'm not sure how accurate it is. It was apparently accurate enough for Smokey to put it on their T shirts.

These drawings seem to be what Patty was based on. Kind of like a storyboard.

And then here is the Roger Patterson interpretation.

Patty wasnt based on a drawing. She was based on a long line of evolving bipeds

Is that an opinion or a fact?

Looks fairly obvious to me she was most likely based on a Kuntsler drawing that Patterson plagerized.

Opinion, obviously. Its amazing either way. Patterson was either an incredible hoaxer, or one of the luckiest people in the world to film the only non human biped

I am inclined to believe that the PGF shows a genuine Sasquatch (it just seems too accomplished to be a hoax), however a small part of me is open to it being a hoax.

However, I was reading a re-print of Patterson's 1966 book "Do abominable snowmen exist in America" and in it he has an account of the William Roe sighting and the accompanying illustration of the hunter and female sasquatch (posted above).

If PGF was a hoax then this account could have served as it's template. The description of the female sasquatch and the fact that, according to Roe, it turned around to look at him repeatedly match the creature in the PGF.

The drawing Albert Ostman thought looked the best to him, was the drawing based on the sighting of the young lad who later became a deputy sherriff, it is in Pattersons book. It is the simpler drawing of a sasquatch, no landscape stuff etc., if I'm recallin' correctly. I had chit-chatted with John Green some years back about it. ( Don't have the book handy or I'd know the page an name of the guy)
