Some of you might remember the old TV series The Night Stalker with Darren McGavin and Simon Oakland.
I picked up an episode today on the Chiller Channel called "Primal Scream". It was an episode in which Chicago scientists "Clone" ice age "caveman" cells and create an "apeman". Hokey, but fun watching a vintage 70's show. Anyway, they didn't call the "creature" bigfoot, but they did take footcasts, and the subject in question had a 16 EEE foot size with an arch that was "half modern human and half homo erectus".

That was one of my all time favorite shows. I've don't recall that episode, though. Sounds worth looking for.

I will always remember the episode with the alligator growing in the sewer. I was ten and it scared the beejeepers out of me.

How funny. Just watched a clip on youtube. You don't realize how much you ate everything Bigfoot up as
a kid until you see it 34 years later. Always watched the show and thanks for the memories.

I watched the first three episodes of the first season last night. The first season is available as a download from Netflix. Kolchak, The Night Stalker was such a fine, entertaining show! Darren McGavin was a gem, and the show's interplay of humor, politics, and drama are very entertaining.
Kolchak tooling around the Windy City in his convertible, old Mustang, snapping photos with a 110 film camera, white shoes and beat-up fedora, you just can't beat it!
