I am probably gonna regret watching this one...but SciFi has yet another bigfoot-inspired film to torment us with.
Check out YETI on Saturday night if you've got the stomach lining left from Abomidable....

So what is everyone thinking at this point in the movie ? Or are you all glued to the TV or out for the night ?
I think it is ok, Pretty typical Sifi movie so i had already prepared myself with alcohol,

here my new review- yeti is a great new horror movie it has alot action & suspence scenes alittle comedy in it. i give this movie A++++. the stars of this movie were great. the special effects on the yeti were good to nice. this new yeti kinda reminds of sasquatch & abominable. the acter who played the yeti did a great job in that role. thanks bill

WOW, did that suck!

It was fun to laugh at... my son and I decided that the Yeti was the offspring of an albino Uruk-Hai (obviously one of their masks painted white) and the Cowardly Lion.
Love those 2-fingered hands too!

Hi
I think it was much better than most SIFI horror flicks in some ways but not many, They even got into a short conversation about Giganto, Yeti lived in an unfurnished cave with a Brother, Sister or Mate, It never really gets into that but there are a few of them, I feel sorry for the summer woods loving skin folks, This was set in the mountains and very wintery, No tube tops or shorts, But Mr yeti did cop a feel on the girl he abducted, There was a mister tuff guy in it but you and i know he was going to get killed in some way, The movie ended with kissing . . . . Until the next people eating mean old ugly BF style flick comes along, This one will still just be what it is, Just what you expected
Peace

My review: I missed most of this, and it seems like it's a good thing I did. This one is pretty bad. It involves a group of College Students who have their plane crash in the Himalayas, where they run across some killer Yetis, who begin dispatching the students. The CGI used for the scenes where the Yeti jumps and runs is HORRIBLE, and the costume is pretty terrible too. It is like an Abominable, Snowbeast and Sasquatch: The Untold wannabe, without the charm or plot. Still, I give this 2 1/2 out of 5 stars, and that's generous.

Third Yeti scene in the cave shows the human actors clothing beneath the suit. Some kind of blue shirt or strap.
This is a pretty bad movie. The B movie of yore at least had engaging acting. Come on, trees at 19,000 feet!!!!

That was one of the worst creature feature films I think I've ever seen. What was with all that leaping crap .... and those teeth and two fingered hands. Why can't they ever cover the creature with hair that looks like actual hair. They always look like they have the mange. I want my two hours back. Two thumbs down from me and that's because I only have two thumbs.

What a stinker of a movie.

That guy can sure carve up nice looking steaks with a broken piece of glass.
OK... I think I am beginning to understand the SciFi original series of movies. They gave the productions to high-school film students to see what they could do and to keep things cheap. I agree that this was one of the worst movies I have seen. Savage Planet wasn't any better either. Both of the movies should be burned and never put before an audience again.

I guess we should be thankful that more of SciFi's budget apparently goes not to their original movies, but to their excellent original series (like Battlestar Galactica)... I'd rather keep it that way, I think!

Why would you want a sequel to a terrible, terrible movie?
Everyone involved in that movie shoudl be completely and utterly ashamed of themselves.
