No he isn't lying, earthquakes and fires are something we deal with
in California, although this was my first mandatory evacuation call, and
I barely got out myself because I just didn't believe it until I heard pine
trees exploding. The sound of a 42mph firestorm is deafening and incredibly
terrifying.

But I am okay, though traumatized and suffering
post traumatic stress syndrome when I hear sirens or low flying
helicopters....or explosions. Oct 26 was like a war zone up here
something I've never experience in my life. Otherwise, I'm fully
insured, and most of my valuables and bigfoot collection was
housed in a locked steel storage-bin container on the back of the
property back in early summer when I left for Central Asia.

I  don't know where this is posted Brian, but you can relay this msg
that I'm far more fortunate than those uninsured families with children
and those who were severely burned and those that died because they
didn't get out in time. There simply was not enough firefighting equipment
to cover all of the raging fires.....2000 plus homes were destroyed, 3/4's
of a million acres burned and it is far worse than
what people see on CNN.......far worse. The stories are traumatic
sad and tragic..........truly, my loss is nothing.
