Just like last year, I'm curious who's coming to the TBRC Conference in Jefferson, TX. I am so there (turns out, I'm actually part of the show this time).

My brother and I plan on attending unless something comes up. I have been wanting to attend this for years. I went to Caddo Lake for the first time this year and was astounded, it only made my yearning to go that much stronger.

To all that have never been to the area and are teetering as to whether they will attend, please do so you will not be disappointed.

I'm planning on being there. I love the area. I grew up an hour south of Jefferson and my mom still lives there.

I’m tempted….

Just a few “logistics” questions for those (like me) who live a bit far from Jefferson and plan to go:

1) Do you fly to/from DFW and get a rental there?
2) Where is the best place to stay if you don’t intend to go camping?
3) Do you have to bring your two-four?

1) DFW is 3 hours from Jefferson. Most fly in there and rent a car. Shreveport is less than an hour away, but it is not a major hub so there usually aren't many deals...
2) There are quite a few places to stay in Jefferson. Most are B & B's. Marshall is 15 minutes away and there are several major motel chains there.
3) Two-four? Not sure what a two-four is...

I checked flights to Shreveport and they are much more expensive.

Two-Four is Canadian "slang" for a case of 24 beer. I guess Question 3) should have been: "Is there post-conference activities where people get together and socialize?"

Plus the fact that you never know where the TBRC will have those pesky camera traps stationed...

This is strictly a rumor, don't remember where I heard it, but I 'heard' that you are doing a presentation on the possibility that singing, and it's effect of arousing the curiosity of Bigfoot, thus bringing him into the camp. Is there any basis to this rumor? I also heard something about you possibly singing? I don't know, like I said it's just a rumor. Possible set list? Background singers? Any info would be appreciated!

Definitely not going to be there this year - my daughter's first tap dancing show turns out to be that weekend, and as much as I love you guys, I love her a whole lot more, and wouldn't miss it for the world.
