Why do you believe OR not believe in Bigfoot?
My reason is simple, hundreds if not thousands of people across North America and thru the world, have seen SOMETHING.Something has left thousands of footprints in all shapes and sizes. For hundreds of years,Indians, early explorers, mountain men, etc, have shared stories and experiences.I just cant believe they are all lying,or everyone has mistaken what they encountered. The indians and explorers lived in a time where ther was no 15 Minutes of fame,or get rich quick schemesmso they had no reason to lie.And as far as hoaxers, there cant be enuff hoaxers out there to account for all the different size and shape tracks, all over the USA and CANADA. So if you rule out, liars, hoaxers, tall tale tellers, and cases of mistaken identity, what is left? Something real. If 95% of all the reports in history are bogus,or are mistaken identity, then the other 5% STILL leaves a HUGE amount of unexplainable evidence, and if 5% of the reports ARE IN FACT REAL,then there is something alive that we dont yet know about.
You all have heard the stories of animals that were thought to be extinct for a million years suddenly showing up alive,or of New planets being discovered. We dont know everything, and thats feels good to me.If you are a religious person,or spiritual, then you understand that we cant possibly fathom Gods plan.
Thats why i BELIEVE! And i hope one day before i kick the bucket,it will be proven

It is easy to know when you have personally seen or heard credible evidence. Its easy to believe when you are open minded enough to accept the evidence as being a probability. Its easy to be skeptical if evidence alone is not not enough to convince you of the possibility. Its easy not to believe without it being a proven fact. Its easier to go with whatever the majority says because then you do not have to explain your opinion.

1. There are people seeing something.
2. There are statistic and morphologic sientific analyis that show that it´s not just a mind thing.
We know they exist, we just don´t know how they look and life. Oh, and to stay straight we don´t know what they are.
Just falsify Meldrum, Kranz etc. and I may change my point of view. If someone doesn´t think that they exist they should show my their studies. Just to say there is no body so there is no BF doesn´t work. Either you have something to counter the pro studies or you have to accept them.
Now please don´t start to tell my about Popper ;-)

Me? I don't know what to think anymore. The rubber suit bigfoot in the freezer has possibly given me second thoughts to bigfoot's existence. The only thing I do believe could be authentic is the Patterson/Gimlin film. We all know why that is and about Patty. So for now, I'm sitting on the fence either way.
Little did the Georgia boys care that what they did has ruined a lot of people's beliefs. I'm disgusted by what they have done and I hope charges are pending for public mischief. It's too bad really.

I'm like you, bigfootmorf, there are too many stories from long ago to the present day and there are so many new things being discovered all the time. We don't know everything and to think that something doesn't exist because we don't know all the details is short sighted.

I don't think we will find anything more than what we have until people CAN start putting in the kind of time and work that is required to do the task. These people that are out looking for these things are doing it out of their own pockets, they have jobs, families, and bills to pay. We need the government to stop funding stupid s**t searches for animals that look like other animals for the time being and help fund looking for a animal that we actually give a damn about...
