Yeah Ok, it was obvious that these two guys were pulling a stupid prank. Nobody really gave them much of a chance to produce what they said they had. Enter Tom Biscardi, living off bigfoot hoaxes for most of his adult life. He seen these two guys as an easy payday, and developed a plan. Plan taking this all the way to international media attention, and ending with the inevitable.

Now all we get from Steve is that Tom was snookered and matt lost his job, Matt and rick took the money and ran. Matt and rick can't be found. Can't be found? You would expect at least a video of them on you tube making fun of the Bigfoot community declaring they had the greatest hoax of all time, after all they were full of bravado from the opening gate. "best bigfoottrackers in the world".

I hate to speculate, but some high profile people in the bigfoot research have LOTS MORE to lose then a couple of good ol' boys from GA. You would think an officer of the law shot in the line of duty would be in line for a life pension on insurance or what not.

I fear that a predator or more seen an oppurtunity to take advantage for a quick pay day, blame the patsies... and run. If these guys do not show up soon I fear the worse.

While I do not believe that they have met any foul play yet, I do think it is a real possibility that it is on the way. They have pissed off a lot of people and, as we all know, there are more than a few unbalanced individuals in this field.

There have been lives lost for lesser things but i can't see why they would need to be Squatched, Nothing was really lost but a job and some credibility, I still think and posted a while back that this thing was thought up over a few beers and thrown together as it went along, In a few weeks time it will be forgotten for the most part and a new sighting or two will take it's place, For now hose on them but keep the safety's on

No, I am thinking who has the most to lose here. These guys knew what they were doing with a series of amatuer videos.. they were jsut getting attention. Enter Tom Biscardi who took the entire operation to the next level. This is HOW HE MAKES A LIVING. Now this guy Tom Biscardi KNOWS he has been caught in hoaxes past. Do you really think he can afford to have a couple of knuckleheads from GA ruining his lame alibi? Can he take that chance for the next payday? or do you remove the threat and say tell a tale of two guys who stole your money and went to the islands? Like I said if these guys do not show up, and so far nobody has seen or heard from them I would think the worse.

I have been waiting for the other shoe to drop, and so far the other shoe has not been seen or heard from. Not even steve who went to examine the body over the weekend. Things are not jiving AT ALL.

I fear for them too, but not their lives. I fear that if they were strange enough to do this, it may be a strong indication of other issues with them that would be far more haunting.

I'm fairly certain that the guys who called into Steve's show last night about the "Die Hard" movie and rubber feet were Rick and Matt - they were giggling pretty hard, so I think they are likely safe.

You forgot dinosaur. But thats my point. These two guys from GA tried to pull of a hoax but they were laughed at at every step of the way... Then TOm stepped in, all of a sudden all of thier videos are removed, they got photos now of a creature, they got international press.

That leads me to believe that Tom Biscardi turned the ship around. He seen the dollar signs, he seen the exposure and took it for all it was worth. He also know he can't live off this last hoax forever... this makes 2 MAJOR ones.

If he expects another payday.. maybe 5 years down the road he needs Steve Kull to vauge for him and he needs the GA boys to "go away".

I never said murder. Just asking some serious questions that no one seems to ask. After all they are painting a picture that these two guys are the ulimate "evil doers". I disagree and I doubt they even had a fake body untill biscardi showed up. They would of had that same footafe on a youtube video weeks ago.

I don't think that anyone wants to murder Matt and Rick - the biggest threat to their lives are probably their own actions - like stepping on a rake in the yard, falling off their back porch and drowning in a mud puddle, borrowing money from the mob, shooting themselves in the foot (or hand), or choking to death on their own feet. Just the usual suspects. Natural selection at its finest. Lets hope they don't reproduce first.
