Ok, just sharing some information I am finding out on Lake Temagami (proper spelling).
It is indeed in the province of Ontario, Canada. There are many islands (you can see them from satellite views, especially well if you look at them through Google maps).
Bear Island is the largest of all of the islands with an estimated size of 1.8 square miles. Apparently this is indian reservation land, or at least part of it. There is a main road that runs east of the lake, Canadian Highway 11, it's actually the Trans Canadian Highway. The lake is located just under a two hour drive north of North Bay, Ontario, Canada. The area is well known for bear hunting, hence Bear Island.
Temagami is actually a town as well, not just the name of the lake, it is in the district of Nipissing. The town had a population of 893 individuals in the 2001 Canadian census and just over 900 dwellings of various types. It has old growth forests surrounding the lake and other lands, has many logging roads, and renovated fire tower offering views of the entire area, and is frequented by visitors from North Bay and logging company personnel.

I think we shold hold off the judgment on the pics until all of them are posted.
We don't want to give Tomagami the wrong impression of what type of individuals we are and don't want to upset him. He may be as innocent as we are looking at and putting these through his own analysis.
Plus, this gives us time to formulate opinions so that when all of the pictures are posted we will be able to put forth our findings in a more concise manner.
Good on you Tomagami, good on you, keep it up, we are here to support you, don't worry, we won't shoot the messenger.

certainly no expert, me.
after zooming it in and out some it suddenly seemed that its size fits and the pic is taken from a loooooong ways off with the camera zoomed.
the deadfall in front of it is misleading i think.

Tomagami bigfoot man, can you describe the circumstances of the encounter in detail?
The exact date.
Time of day.
How big is the island?
What kinds of trees are in the photograph (for size estimations).
Is there anything to eat there?
How far is the closest mainland shore?
What were you (I assume you took them) doing on the island?
How did the creature behave? Did it run away, approach you?
Did it make any noises?
Did it have an ordor?.
Anything else that you may think is important?
Thanks,
Paul.

Phone ringing? Who calls at midnight, I am in the CDT as well, I would shoot any messenger calling my house a midnight no matter if it is a Friday night...unless it was an absolute emergency, or my momma.

Judging from the photos the Sasquatch looks like the description in the Ostman account. That thing is not apelike at all. If you shave it you've got a human or pretty close to human. Very much like the Native American description too.

Let him post the pictures first, let's help him with that, then we can go back and forth on this and allow him some time to put his thoughts into focus and provide the information.
I would be stressed and nervous if I were him. He was in the thread about the Georgia "BF" earlier so I know he has seen some of the hostile comments (including some from me, hey, I'm not perfect) so I am sure this is a little off putting to him to be doing this and having people ask questions and judge so early.
Not singling you out, just noticing that your questions were similar to ones I had earlier and am using your concise approach as an example to others.
