Original Thread about this movie...comparing the then to the now...It doesn't appear much progress has been made...Matt...you out there ? you posted it how about an update ?
Susan
Oooopps, guess I should have done a search, sorry! unsure.gif I meant no disrespect to the filmmaker, it just made me chuckle today. I've seen the movie "Sasquatch" with Lance Hendriksen so that is my latest impression of a bigfoot movie.

new_thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif Its gonna be another DUMB A$$ MOVIE!!!!!!!
If I read the other thread right, he believes that the PG film is a hoax
with the so called hot water bottles. icon_bang.gif

What needs to be done is the researchers need to get together with a
Producer / Film Maker and make a few films on the true Sasquatch. (Ken Burns) (Easier said than done. I'm sure) Instead of having over the top film makers who are only in it for the money do it for them!
Sasquatch Meets Science was Great. Mysterious Monsters was a good film on encounters, as was Boggy Creek. We need more encounters of these elusive creatures to give them life in the publics eye. We have experts on other films that are done to give the film its airs of truth why not do it with Sasquatch. It seems that they give creedence to the Over Zealous bigfoot researchers like EB and the others who believe in UFO/BIGFOOT Connection etc.............. icon_really_happy_guy.gif

You may laugh now, but The Director of Six Sense / Signs would take it more serious than the rest of HOLLYWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did make These Two Movies believeable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You may not believe this , but both of of kids are in the Film Industry.

Yes, I agree that something realistic and believable should be done as opposed to another "Harry and the Hendersons" or "Sasquatch". blink.gif

Does M. Night have an interest in sasquatch? I've heard his name mentioned before, does he have an idea in the works?
belleoftheball
Have a friend in OK who produces films and knows M Night's production company. I e-Mailed him and ask if he knew M.Night or even Steven Spellberg. He knows both. Joel lt Stated that we need some sort of Script or even a story or a rough draft of one to even be concidered. I Started a book HA HA on this subject a few years back, even before Sasquatch, The UNTOLD STUPID Story came out. I haven't finished writting the story. So Joel siad he would look at it or anything else we have on paper or film. Just now putting the story on my PC. It was wriiten in Pencil and the words are hard to read..

He has a small production company in OK. My daughter auditioned for a role in Haunting Pool. Shes still up for the role, thats if she doesn't age out!

Here's yet another proposed BF movie. Seen this? http://www.zap2it.com/movies/news/story/0,...--19344,00.html

Why not? A realisticsasquatch film would be awesome. I saw "Sasquatch" and although there were a few, repeat, few moments that were ok for the most part I felt it was a total joke. Sees with infa red vision? No hair on his arms? Hunting people down because they have proof of his existence? C'mon... But if Hollywood producers tried they could turn out an incredible movie.
Lets face it; its ridiculous to think that every single one of these sightings is a hoax, the woods in the Pacific Northwest are big enough to support something. I read that someone "saw" a Bigfoot where I live (Windham, CT) but I know that's bull**** there are just too many people out here. But something is out there and I hope someday we prove it. Keep an open mind people...oh wait I am like babbling here and my wife hates it when I do that...sorry...cya new_sleepysmileyanim.gif

sigh....... this is the one that worries me. It's going to be Reinhold's take on the whole Wallace thing. From what I gather, they think the entire bigfoot saga started and ended with Wallace. yeah, right.........
