Before anyone jumps on Coleman's back about this, it is very likely that the organisers chose the wording, not Coleman.

I have experience of this - on two occasions when I've been giving talks, the organisers have refered to me in their promotional material as a 'Bigfoot Expert' without my approval.

But...you are the world's foremost expert in British bigfoot, are you not?

No, I'm sure the idiots who claim to have seen bigfoot in Britain hold that title

Or maybe not... he was desperately asking for donations a while back due to his tax-issues.

I can confirm that the description the Scarefest organisers used is not Coleman's description.

The trouble is, that organisers want to sell seats, and will use whatever description of their speakers they think will sell best.


I have been referred to in promotional material as 'Britain's Foremost Bigfoot Expert' and the like, and have in the past requested that the wording on websites is changed - it never is.
