Two researchers and two authors — all specialists on the elusive hairy creature known as Bigfoot — headline a four-hour mini-conference, Bigfoot Discovery Day II, hosted by Felton’s Bigfoot Discovery Museum.

Associate professor. Jeff Meldrum of Idaho State University, author of "Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science," heads the roster of speakers. He is joined by investigator Rick Noll, who has appeared on several TV documentaries; Kathy Strain, author of "Giants, Cannibals & Monsters: Bigfoot in Native Culture;" and Dave Paulides, who has spent the past three years researching Bigfoot on the Hoopa Indian reservation.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors and $5 for children 14 and younger.

Singer-songwriter Tom Yamarone will perform several Bigfoot songs, and there will be a silent auction for Bigfoot footprint casts.
