Myself and a group of four others went on a weekend research trip to Tinkham campground in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This was our first bigfoot outing. We did extensive hiking, sound blasting, etc., with no joy. We did happen upon an interesting shelter within the campground area itself, though it wasn't along any trail. I do not suggest it was made by a sasquatch, but it did appear interesting none the less. Almost all the branches used were "broken", rather than cut. There were a few branches that were obviously cut. If it were made by our elusive hairy friend, one could argue that it/they used branches that were in the area from pruning/clear cutting within the campground. There was no shortage of these. One branch that was used in the construction of the "entrance" was made from an existing standing tree and was bent down along the top. That would take a bit of effort from a human(s), although it wouldn't be impossible. The inner bed of the shelter was covered with pine needles. The campground is closed during the winter, so it could have been made during winter months. Again, I offer no conclusions. I simply offer these photo's for your viewing. -- Thanks!
