I think we've both been hiking in the same area! That little devil has freaked me out a couple times. I got him though, right on film.

Just messing around with you, but your pic does look heavily filtered in photoshop (angled strokes, and the like), or it is so blurry and of such poor quality as to make it useless in deciphering anything worthy therefrom.

My two cents (well, one cent when inflation is factored in).

when its 10:30 at night and the camera settings aren`t set for a night shot and taken by a 12 year old then yes picture quality isn`the best, camera in question takes incredible photos, as for photo shop nope this is what you see no photo shop, i want to see how many theories we have out there, as i see on some of these post there are some wild ideas and theories. No expert opinions on how tall this bear is and how much it weighs.

Bear? How do you come up with 'Bear'?
It looks like a human to me.

Do you know that it is a bear? that is the only reason I would ask if anyone thinks this looks like a bear, because you already know it is a bear.

otherwise it's obviously human, or upright Alien, but not a bear

No box of Kokanee in his hands so don't think its a Sasquatch lol. Maybe an old Cree Indian out for a walk in the park?

Hi everyone! I came across this site while looking for information on google about where to get a bigfoot suit. I can always use information on that smile.gif. I have always been hooked by the idea of a big, hairy giant in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, there aren't any. However, I love reading all of the stories, even if they are obvious fakes. My favorite hot dish is egg dish, a mix of egg, bacon, and more. I don't know if bigfoot would make me happy or scare the living crap out of me, but I would love for it to be proven.

It's bluedolphin!, he must have got that fancy BF suit he was looking for. new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

I am 99.9% positive that is Ursus americanus, the black bear. It looks like it would be an awkward bipedal. I've seen many black bears and this photo shows two things I recognize: the thick legs and the head profile as it was looking up. It isn't the best photo, even the cheap "point and shoot" digital cameras will take very decent photographs.

Maybe I'm reaching here, but why don't you just ask the 12 year old that took the picture, what it was? huh.gif
