Enlargement looks like a damselfly, the original with the deer in the background looks like a mosquito I wouldn't want to tangle with.
If water was nearby many flying insect hatches (read: trout food) hatch during the night, I have living proof from my own nearby small stream
and game cam footage to prove it. Bottom line: very reflective insect with more than two legs as you might expect. Don't let Biscardi get wind of
it though or the beavers will have wings.

It's interesting that the deer and flying insect (or whatever it is) is in each of the pictures. I wouldn't have thought twice about it until I looked closer at the date/time stamp of the photos.

that is obviously a forrest fairy beginning its transformation into a bigfoot preparing to attack and eat the deer.

Maybe there's just something wrong with the camera?

Actually the camera does completley wash a picture out but its usually the entire picture?

I thought the first picture looked like a hummingbird.
