But look how clear and perfect that footprint is...........

That guy that claims he is the hoaxer, you know he might be pretending that he hoaxed them, and there really is a bigfoot out there. I mean who could make prints that good with a 2x4 strapped to their feet?

You know, the mountians of Montana are full of cowboys and hunters, they are tough, stubborn and proud..they wouldn't report a sighting for fear of being ridiculed and laughed at.. and before anyone get to upset, I am NOT dissing cowboys or Montana.. I would run and tell anyone I trusted if I saw Bigfoot..But I guarantee my husband wouldn't...

also, couldn't see the article..says "page could not be found"

Those rough, tough cowboys and hunters are rough and tough because they are not worried about being laughed at or ridiculed. I double-dog dare you to laugh at and ridicule one to his face!

Besides, they would just blow away any bigfoot they ran across and put it on display.

Did you see the article? Or is this the one dated April 17, 2008 For Hays Montana? (which is why it wouldn't be available at the Tribune).

There's less than 1,000,000 people in an area of 147,165 Square Miles & nearly 20% of those people are in Billings, which is under 1% of the total Square Miles of the State..

No wonder there isn't many Sightings..

I'm from Choteau Montana which is about an hour and half NW of Great Falls. I grew up hearing stories about BF and I can tell you first hand that the folks around Choteau (at least back then) wouldn't report anything. I personally don't think it's a pride thing, more than likely it's the we don't want any attention up here thing. I saw a lot of that coming from most everyone there. People up there don't want a lot of attention being paid to them most of the time especially with something like BF.

I actually had a campsite visit sometime around 85 or 86' while camping with my cousin in the mountains west of Choteau but we didn't see anything only heard really loud tree knocking (50 or 60 yrds away) and whatever it was was stomping around and breaking branches up on the steep incline across from us like it was really pissed off and it was rolling very big rocks down the side of the mountain no more than 30 or 40 yrds from us, this lasted for about an hour or so. Also, my dog (German shorthair) was trembling under my camping chair the whole time! This idiot dog would chase grizzly bears that would dig up the crab apples from the snow in my front yard, he sounds brave but I'm pretty sure he just didn't have the "I should be afraid of this thing" gene I must have pulled at least 100 porcupine quills from his nose over the years, he literally would go after anything. Scared the hell out of my cousin and I but it got the BF bug in me and I've been hooked ever since.
The incident was really intense but what really scared me was when my cousin said, wheres Nick? (my dog) I said something like "oh s**t!" because I knew his stupid ass would be gone in a second blindly running into whatever was up there making all that noise but then I saw him cowered under my small camping chair shaking like a leaf. Both my cousin and I just sat down and put more wood on the fire and pretty much whispered everything we said until everything got quiet. We stayed and broke camp the next morning and went home, nothing else happened after everything got quiet.

Cheers
