Hi

I keep looking at this photo, Thinking maybe some rich exhaust is coming from the truck other than that i Really don't have much to say, I for one am not into the paranoral stuff,

Guess i have to ask why anyone would think something like this is a ghost or shapeshifter ?

Peace
Tim

First of all there is nothing at the originating website that suggests this was a "Bigfoot" or anything else but an alleged "Shadow Person".

Secondly if you look at the EXIF Information on the picture file, you find a number of things that makes one suspicious of this picture.

First there's this line..."Software - Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 Windows"

If you want me to take a serious look at a picture, I prefer an unedited version especially not a Photoshopped version.

Second if you look at the story on that site...

On July 4th, 2007, I took this photo to show other family members how crazy it gets with...

That photo was NOT taken on July 4th, 2007, but as the EXIF file shows it was taken on June 23, 2006 at 4:38 am.

QUOTE
At first I thought the slower shutter speed may have caught someone running across the street. But closer examination shows that the reflection on the subject from the red tail light of the pick up truck, shows no real time lapse (streaking) to support this thought. The pickup truck behind the shadow is moving at approximately 15 mph and the driver is still relatively in focus, so I don’t think this is a person out of focus due to the reduced shudder speed.

To that I say BS. That picture is "TOO" in focus for the vehicle he mentions to be moving by at 15 mph. A vehicle moving at 15 MPH is traveling 22 FEET PER SECOND. The EXIF file shows us that the picture was taken with an exposure time of 1.6 Seconds. During that time the vehicle would have moved 35.2 FEET.. and there's NO WAY that truck would have been in focus... let alone in the same frame! There's nothing in the picture that suggests ANYTHING is moving, those vehicles are all at a standstill.

EXIF FILE FROM THAT PICTURE:

Statistically speaking, only one shadow folk makes it across the street for every twenty attempts.
It's sad really.......

Top right...I think the hairy dude is trying to beat rush-hour traffic by jumping in his Super-Inter-Dimensional-Hopping-Buggy-Vehicle. I've imagined what he'd look like in it with a scribbly red line.

What the heck are "shadow folk"?
Yes, I am too lazy to Google it.
And I wonder if the camera was set on a "night flash" sort of function. This is where the camera drags the shutter speed to help brighten a dark background (like in a church). In a dark situation, with people moving in the background but the flash not illuminating them fully, you get this effect shown in the photo.

Another of the pre-Coast-to-Coast radio show non-existent evil minions from the dark side of the new moon.

Be very careful when discussing the shadow folk, they can be in your living room and you wouldn't know it until it was too late! rofl02.gif

Strange how shadow people are confined to the same limitations we have in the third dimension. They have to CROSS the road just like we do.

Only when they know they are being photographed.. they try to blend in. wink.gif

You seem to be taking personal offense to other members opinions.
Is it because you started the thread?

Everyone here is entitled to their personal opinion of the topic. If it doesn't mirror your opinion, it doesn't mean you are being personally attacked.

Just some friendly advice.
If I'm wrong in my assumption, I apologize.

honestly I don’t know why I'm lashing out.

At first I tried IM the members who voiced their negative opinions, but I never got an answer.

So I thought why not challenge them.

What bothers me the most is they don’t give a reason for their opinion. They just show up and stamp their disapproval for the topic.

I don’t know...is that what a forum is?

Am I missing something?

Everyone has their own way of getting the point across I guess.
And yes, this forum is a very diverse group that doesn't speak with one voice.

For what it's worth, I think you've brought up some very interesting topics. Just remember, not everyone will always agree with you or voice their opinion in a way that you'll immediately understand or appreciate. Some you may never understand or appreciate. laugh.gif

Sometimes it's very hard to get a grasp on another posters feelings behind the words on an internet forum. Even with emoticons, it can be a challenge.

Just roll with the punches, and remember, you're not being personally attacked.

Hi
I mailed you back a few times, With some advice geared toward you understanding about the thread developing and how to read folks posts, I think you are having trouble understanding the sarcasm part of it ?? It is a forum and everyone has every right to post back what they think or like, I have not seen anything hostile or attacking, I think the picture is funny and very fake, So i have took an interest in the thread

Peace
Tim

thank you. I realize lashing out makes me look juvenile. I will work on not taking this so seriously.

redratsnake:

yes you have. You though have never said anything negative. You are so filled with positive I wonder if it's even possible for you to not be.

i didn't answer you because you seem to like to hear your self talk or in our case see your written word all over the Internet. being the nice caring person i am i didn't want to get between you and yourself as it were. that and the fact that next subject means next subject please. nothing more nothing less.

you seem to get butt hurt easily as you challenge the meaning of peoples posts quite often or write in a way intended to transmit hostility or frustration. if i caused you any of this pain im so very sorry.

you seem like a nice person so I'm going to clue you in on something about the BFF, if you have any question/doubt about weather or not i or most anyone else here is angry or attempting to be rude or any other negative notion it is safe to say they arent. folks around here are extremely open and honest to a fault. it will be crystal clear if someone is angry mad insulted or fed up. you wont have a doubt in your mind.

its one of the cool things here that most can state their opinions about anything or body and then move on. its the Internet for god sakes not a tea house with the ladies temperance club brunch going on where all participants are sickeningly fake in their niceness.

i feel you have great potential and as such I'm sure you will move on and be ok.

next subject? there does the question mark make it nicer?
