Bigfoot in Lousiana

Morehouse Parish woman claims to have had a chance encounter with the elusive creature known as Bigfoot -- and she has the photo to prove it.

The witness, who asked that her name be withheld to avoid public ridicule, said she was going to see her husband, working in a field off Merton Bowe Road east of Mer Rouge when something moving along the banks of Bayou Bonne Idee caught her eye.

"I noticed this figure splashing around on the banks of the Bonne Idee. I couldn't tell what it was, but what struck me as odd was it seemed to be bathing."

One of the camera experts on this forum needs to check this one out, cause it really looks photoshopped to me for some reason. I think I have seen that BF, in that exact pose, somewhere else. Maybe turned the other way?

I may be wrong?

I agree looks awfully familiar. The feet seem to be missing and there's no reflection of the 'creature' on the water.

It just occurred to me....April Fool's? headbang.gif

If there was a 'thats exactly what I was thinking' prize, swedesquatch would have won it.

Unbelieveably lame - I'm not sure why anyone would bother. I wonder if this is a crappy April Fool that was published or republished late by someone who didn't check their calendar?

Looks a lot like this pic of "Patty" with the background changed...

Which I found on this site... http://www.dhadm.com/content/category/scie...technology/gps/ dated September 29th, 2007.

It appears to be one of the frames from the Patterson Gimlin Film and simply flipped horizontally to show her heading in the opposite direction.

I also agree had it been real at least part of the creature would have shown as a reflection in the water.

Enlarged for better comparison

You'll also notice a breakdown in the pixels of the background in comparison to the creature in the picture showing far less breakdown. This means the two objects were not photographed at the same time and the creature was shot at a higher resolution. Hoax.

You can't be serious on this one. It looks like someone stuck a Patty magnet on a picture. coverlaugh.gif

Good lord. It's Patty, and an april fools joke. Not even a good one. One of the worst fakes I've seen.

Is this a class "A" sighting too?

Depends on what "A" stands for.

what a silly attempt. It would take some truly super skills to pull a hoax off with todays experts and tech equipment. Shame on the photo owner and shame on the news paper that ran it. maybe it was just an april fools attempt

Morehouse Sheriff-elect Mike Tubbs confirmed his office receives calls about Bigfoot eating out of garbage cans and peering through the windows of homes in the Bonne Idee area. Curiously, the reports always seem to come in at the same time each year.

"We tell people not to worry, that Bigfoot is just as scared of you as you are of him," said Tubbs. "We don't really follow up on those calls because you can't always believe what people tell you when April Fool's Day rolls around."

Yuck, yuck.

I personally think it is real. For whatever reason, Patty has moved from Bluff Creek to Morehouse Parish. Since it is Patty, I would expect the look and mannerisms to be the same.... whistling.gif coverlaugh.gif

I think it is a mangy bear...it isn't blurry enough to be a real bigfoot. whistling.gif

why would you even post this. it is not even as inventive as the guy who took a pic of a plywood bigfoot cut out. that guy had to trace it, cut it out, paint it black then stand it up next to his atv and then take the pic.
