As some of you already know, the administrators of bigfootforums.com acquired the domain name bigfootforums.net at public auction after the previous owner failed to renew it in November 2007. On 26th December 2007, the domain was officially re-registered, and now redirects to bigfootforums.com.


The reason for making this post is that there are dozens of posts on this forum that make reference to the '.net' website, which now make absolutely no sense.


We the administrators hope that you, the members of this forum approve of this acquisition - we hope it will reduce any confusion that the 'other' website caused having a similar domain name.
