Everytime I try to load pics they don't go through, and then when the screen refreshes, the option to load pics is gone.

What steps are you taking to load the pics?

Same as I always do, attachments, browse files, upload, etc.
This happened before -- a few days ago.

Hmmm, that's perplexing. Are you still having trouble, or does it come and go?

I just tried again. The option to upload goes away, and when I click on 'Manage Current Attachments' there is nothing there.

Click to view attachmentIt worked with a small file size (138 k) but when I tried to load a larger one (1.11 MB) it would not.
What is the limit on file sizes for pics? I thought it was like 20 MB.
I'll try again with a small file size.
Click to view attachmentOK, this one is 376 k. That worked.

Robert what file type, the file extension was giving you the problem? Was it still a .jpg, .gif or .bmp or something else? There are some file types the board won't accept for direct uploads.

They're all .jpgs.

Click to view attachmentHere's another small one that uploaded. It seems anything above 4 or 5k won't load.

Robert, I do believe that the size is the problem. Usually I resize all the pictures I post here to something like 750 pixels wide, or less and they fit here fine.

I assume I can do that with Photoshop. I have already reduced them down to 1 when using the Save As feature, but I guess there must be another way to make them even smaller. Does anyone know how to do that?

I have a program called Photo Explosion that I use to resize my pics for the forum, emails, etc. I would think you could do it through Photo Shop but I'm not at all familiar with the program.
