Whenever I look @ any of my posts, all the HTML codes - or whatever they're called - in my signature seem to be visible. Can everyone who sees my posts see them too, or is it just me?

I have a similar sig on the SEARCH FOR BIGFOOT forum, and the codes seem to work there ok.

If you're talking about the u and /u yes it's visible. If I remember right the ability to have codes in your signature was shut off. some time ago.

Shouldn't I have gotten a MEMO or something???!!!

We did post in Administrivia at the time.

We were forced to turn it off because some people were taking advantage, and were creating bigger and bigger signatures that were irritating, and little better than adverts for their own websites and forums, which is plain disrespectful.

Roger all that, Paul. I probably read the post @ the time, but you know how it is... When you get old, memory is the second thing to go. I forget what goes first....

I took out all the [whatevers] from my sig.
