I'm hoping that 'blogsquatcher' guy writes a book someday.....not only does he have experience in the field, but he can present the report and it's follow-up in an easy to read 'I feel like I'm there' format.....that's talent......

I liked it too. Nothing conclusive of course, but interesting. Keeps us wondering.

If there is a real creature here, it's concerning that it would be so close to the city. Perhaps encroachment plays a role. Also, as sprawl increases, we may very well see more of these types of reports, it could be that this human blitz into previously unaffected terrain forces this creature closer to us.

first off, hello to yall!
this was a very interesting report ... the stick formations were a first for me as i am newly interested in squatch sightings and peoples reactions to them.. i was compelled to reply to this thread for one reason and that was the asterisks formations that are routinely found, they look alot like back drops i and other hunters make for deer hunting here in arkansas. the idea is to have sum kind of break-up behind you that hopefully helps to conceal one from the deer's ultra sensitive eyesight. i don't doubt that it could be sum kinda communication that squatch uses, whether for marking territory or just saying to others "hi, i have been here" etc.. but the pics i just saw do resemble what i use in the woods my-self.. anyhow thats my story and im sticking to it.

i don't put a lot of stock in the "limb formation" idea myself.tree breaks, they are probably responsible for some of those and they may have been broken in a show of strength for intimidation reasons.but i can't see them laying out sticks for trail markers or even territorial markers.but what do i know i am just a layman.my2cents.

There is a precedent in the primate world for this type of behavior.

Nice story but Oh come on Bigfoot researchers arrive to check the area and the kids have walkie talkie radios and no cameras? I mean what kind of researcher dosen't carry a camera these days? Dumb! A detailed investigation into the woman who made the report might be a telling detail. After all she seems to have a proclivity for the paranormal. Not my idea of a good wittness.

Hello you guys,
Wow, what a report! The blogsquatcher is thorough. Congrats to the Willard boy! I wish it had been me how 'bout it.
The stick formations are interesting. Isabel tore my town up so deadfall is plentiful. I haven't seen any formations yet, myself, that looks unnatural here in South Eastern VA. I will continue to look.
