Full Version: IGNORE FEATURE?
Bigfoot Forums > Other Discussion > Administrivia

Is there a way to put specific members on 'ignore', so that their posts cannot be viewed by the requesting member. I've heard most of the criticisms directed towards various types of evidence and methods. Reading the same inflammatory drivel by the same members directed towards others who are just seeking legitimate answers, is annoying and aggravating. (Feel free to attack me for this) I'm starting to associate this (juvenile) behavior to some guy who would repeatedly point out to an astronomer that the atmosphere could possibly be skewing his observations.

I would say this should be asked in Administrivia

I tried that. You must be a Mod to start a thread there. I also wanted this post/question to be clear for all to see, being that there may be others who feel the same. It is quite distracting (and disheartening) to read some of the responses in otherwise interesting threads.

Humm I have posted in there before and see when many others have as well.

If you click on the Member's Name as shown below you'll get a little popup menu...

Click on "View Member Profile"

Their Profile Page will then come up and below their name on the left side it says Options click on that.

Then click on Ignore User

That should take care of it.

Ummmm.. word to the wise I wouldn't suggest putting any Admins or Mods on ignore. If a problem comes up and we can't contact you.... well...

Wouldn't hurt what?

This feature is coooooool.

In brief: the general discussion of sasquatch in itself is in general, fun. But, I find 'arguing' about elements of sasquatch 'ideas' to be an excercise in absurdity. Granted, sometimes that is fun too. But, mostly arguing about bigfoot is distracting and disheartening, and agravating also.
