Self-important jerk! Oh...it's OK to poke fun at anyone who says they've seen a skunk ape but let some high school kid create a joke website that includes manatee recipes and watch'em all raise the roof. new_evil2.gif

I >cringe< everytime I hear the name "Skunkape" People that are not aware of coloquial/regional names for bigfoot often use the term "Skunkape" over BF in Fl. In actuality again, they are the same animal.

Regarding Peace River Jim, I don't have any (old) reports from there.
If you find that old report please send it over to me biggrin.gif , i'd like to add it to my archives. The Peace would be a great place. Lots of food running along that river - and people who shoot first and ask questions later. Cattle rustling is still alive and well there as in most of S Fl.

first bears, and now someone might shoot me for driving around at night?(what have I gotten myself into? laugh.gif )Even if I can't find the old sighting report, its better territory anyway, more open fields between clusters of growth.better viewing range to.its hard to see through the denser swamp south of Myakka.A BF could be 10 yds.away and I might never know hes there.(less chance of nature calling next to a gator too laugh.gif)
