This encounter seems so familiar... Seems almost like it has bits and pieces of other reports I've read, as well as seeming ALOT like the encounters of a certain person who claims to have habituated a BF. Am I imagining things (more than ususal)?

Edited to add: apparently this report was 4 years old before it was posted.

Hi y'all!I am an Independent from the SE and usually just pop in for the shear dramatic entertainment value of this forum.
I find it so hilarious that most of you guys hate the BFRO so much but yet cant stop giving them press. Funny thing a while back a major photog for the Stars was dying in Europe...major paparazzo fellow..gave lots of bad press and exposure to celebrities in various magazines. Many celebs visited this man on his deathbed to thank him for boosting their careers regardless of what was printed of them.
Something to think about isnt it? Swear to god I didnt know who Biscardi was until I started reading this forum. You've made that guy famous. I cant wait to meet Mary Green because of you guys too.
Thanks BFF!

Well, hey there, Mr. Independent! What I find hilarious is how all those who think the BFRO is the neatest thing since Twinkies keep coming here to read what we, those who hate the BFRO, keep saying about them. Kinda kooky, huh?

Yes, we are here to amuse. Now that our mission is accomplished, we may make the move into wilderness frolic tours. thumbup.gif Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Huh?

LOL! Wow! Just asking a question about a BFRO report garners such a reaction? Did I hit a nerve?

We actually have something in common Biggie - I read BFRO reports for the "shear (should be "sheer", I know, but I'm quoting here) dramatic entertainment value".

I had to - the guy was hanging around on the thread waiting to see who posted a response - he was obviously trolling.

bipto,

That's just what Biscardi, Mary Green and MM need: tabloid paparazzi!

I can read the headlines now:

BIGFOOT BOUGHT BY BFRO, BUT ORGANIZATION LEADER DEMANDS TOO MUCH MONEY FOR MONKEY!!!

THE GREAT GARLIC GASTRONOMICAL GORGING: SASQUATCH ASKS EMERIL TO "KICK IT UP A NOTCH" AND WOOD KNOCKS BACK WITH A "BAM!"

JUST A HOAX FOLKS, BUT BISCARDI LIKES TO PARTY WITH BACARDI AND BISCOTTI WHILE BIGFOOT OVERLOOKED!

Paul, please relax. Have a Guinness, on me! new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

LOL
Some people have too much time on their hands. (Not Paul, but Biggie).

But seriously, are there any thoughts about this report? Was it published somewhere else first, which may explain why it was held for 4 years before it was written?

Sujen I agree it sounds familiar but I'm not sure if it's because I have read this account somewhere before or if it's because alot this romantized co-habitation stories sound so similar. As far as why the report was released it could have been released to lend credibilty or stir up interest for MM guided tour down there in NC or for a number of reasons unknown to us and the might not even make sense to anyone here.

Here is my experience with BFRO. From our Aug 2001 report that made the web site, Moneymaker (the interviewer) was not exactly telling the truth in his follow-up. He only talked to one of us 3 witnesses. The report turned in was from his interview with my friend. He never called me or the other camper.

Campers hear vocalizations and find possible prints near Skookum Meadow
http://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=3024

As Stated by Matt Moneymaker:

Follow-up investigation report:

"I interviewed all 3 of the witnesses involved in this incident. All 3 are highly credible individuals,"

Now, I'm not questioning the report turned in by my friend, it is accurate, but - BFRO needs to cross-reference reports when its possible. And not say you did when you didn't.

Thanks Truthseeker. I never even thought of using that report to lend credibility...and you're right - these romanticized accounts do all seem to blur together.

there may have been some encounters involved but over time the events become intertwined in other unrelated strange events and before you know the individual has developed a long string of events he attributes to bigfoot.add "time"to any event and the embellishment and romantisizing will take place.as far as habituating a sasquatch really don't think it has happened but this is speculation as is it may be.
