I am looking for someone in Texas that might be willing to share a Bigfoot 'Hotspot' location with me, for the purpose of trying to get a picture of the big guy. Ideally, the location would have a game trail that has probable Bigfoot traffic. I have often wondered why there isn't a good picture of Bigfoot, and taken with any of the thousands of Game Cameras out there - now, and in many years past? Problem is, none of the Game Cameras available for sale are species specific. In other words, they certainly aren't designed for Bigfoot Research. Over many years, I have tried to speculate on their limitations with respect to Bigfoot Research. Finally, I designed & built my own, and is currently Patent Pending. It is a Game Camera, that in my opinion, IS designed for Bigfoot Research. It has taken me five years to perfect the design, and the results that I am getting on known wildlife is very encouraging. The only thing needed now are good locations to set it up.......anybody willing to work together on this?

What about your new design makes it "Bigfoot specific"?

The only thing I can figure out would be different then yours would be it does not pick up small things or low things.
Low things are easy to over come just set it to look higher. Small things would be harder and anything flying or even in tree limbs would still set it off I would say.
If your new thing does not pick up low things what happens if it is not walking upright ? A lot of people think they spend a lot of time on all fours like a bear or something. I am not sure I but that myself but who knows they could be right. If they are then it would need to be set at a hight that would pick that up but then it would pick up bear deer and other things.
I just find it really hard to believe anyone could make something that would only pick up a Bigfoot.

I was thinking it might also be more concealed or camouflaged, so that it looks like a natural object. Perhaps a pine cone? Or a perching bird? Or maybe it could fit inside a hollow tree?

My camera trap is completely stealthy, fires multiple cameras from different angles (crawling or standing), the depth of field is known, and it doesn't emit any kind of electrical impluses or beams. One thing I've noticed on the known critters that have posed for me, they aren't looking at, or seem to be aware of the cameras at all......no blank shots either.

This is the first time in ages I have seen anyone come up with something new - I'd love to know more about the project, but understand if you are not ready to share.

Thank you Paul and VA for the kind words. The item that I have the Patent on is my...'Electronic Outdoor Triggering Device', and will start anything you want; cameras, video, sound, or anything electrical. I can make my EOTD's start one or many devices. The triggering device is what is unique, and anyone who can think of more stuff to 'turn-on', I'm all ears. I experimented with more than two cameras, but the flashes would start to wash each other out on night shots. I also want to rig a recording device, so that when the two cameras fire, a recording of any aftermath will be recorded. Having two pictures of the same event, with sound, would be all the better, and more compelling as far as evidence. Any electrical wizards out there to help me rig sound? Need a device that will start recording quickly.

As far as the cameras I use, those would be 35mm, as anything digital fires to slow. I hide those in hollowed out logs (I like the pine cone idea Robert!), or anything that is natural to hide the cameras.

As far as the triggering device is concerned, does it operate remotely, or does it have to be hard-wired to the device you're wanting to trigger?

I'm just asking because it seems to me that would make a difference as to how you would/could trigger different devices, such as an audio recorder like you mentioned.

Wired.....the same way as you see them done on store bought Game Cameras.
