Hi, my friends and family wanted me to join these forums to talk about the Sasquatch I saw last year, Im driving them crazy with sasquatch talk, I have some strange pics, and pics of tracks, some I have reported and some I have kept to myself I just found out about bigfoot forums the other day from a friend. I live in Maple Ridge B. C. Canada.

Cool. Welcome to the BFF hiker11.

Be sure to read here: http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?showtopic=18127

Lets see the pics and please elaborate with a full report of your encounter.
hiker11
Hi, I have been hiking in the mountains around here for 30 years, mostly Golden Ears area, and between pitt lake and harrison lake, I love the outdoors, heard of sasquatch when we were kids but always thought I would belive it when I see it, Last year I was hiking way up this creek with a friend of mine, and we stoped about 7 kl up the creek to have lunch, and after abit my friend started throwing the stick for his dog, while I was looking around at the mountains and hills with my binoculers, I looked at this hillside and saw something move, I kept the binoculers as still as I could, and saw what looked like a very old man with a grey jacket and pointy grey hat, sitting still, and then he got up and walked to his left, and I knew right away it was a sasquatch, he was tall very tall 10 to 12 feet and could see his hair, and his *tallywhacker*, so knew this was a male, when he walked I could see his yellow hands, from the sun shining on him, I told my friend to take alook at this sasquatch, he said what let me see, he couldent see him but could see the goldish things to the left of the sasquatch, he has perfect vision and could see the goldish things with his eyes from this distance, and said he sees the big stump too, he went back to playing with his dog, I kept looking and the sasquatch came back from his left and sat down with his legs out and his hands on his knees just like us, he was always looking north east, so couldent see his face realy good, we were south of him, he was silvery grayish in color and thin, looked like a 80 year old man, with lots of hair, more on his head than anywere else, way more human than ape looking, I reported this a few months back to West coast sasquatch, and still keep in touch with them, since that day I have found lots of tracks and other strange things, I was growled at a few weeks back and it went right threw my body and down the valley, I know this growl was ment for me I was the only one there, I wont hike alone anymore in there or take my son in there hiking ever again.

Nice sighting Hiker11. How far was the sasquatch from you? Also when it walked did it walk like us humans or was is different? Did it have long arms? Can't wait to see your pics. Please post them. Thanks
micahn
I find it interesting that you seen it's as you say *tallywhacker* as that is not a common thing in reports. Breast are talked about more often then male parts. I have often wondered in they are like a lot of animals as well as apes. Where 1 male has a bunch of females, If that is the case then males would be much more rare then females.
hiker11
Hi, we were about a 1/4 of a mile from him, He walked like us, but his knees bent out abit, I guess because he was so tall, and he had long arms, his leg from his foot to his knee was very long, his back looked like a hump back, did not look like the paterson one, he was much older looking and very silvery in color, did not have a camera then, now I have a digital camera, went almost back to the area with Thomas steenburg, got about 2 kl from the area, got some pics of the hillside were he was Click to view attachment this is a rugged areaClick to view attachment

So, he looked like this but with a humped back and more hair on his head, or more hair all over? Was his head pointed on top, or rounded?

Also, are you sure he was 10 or 12 feet tall? How do you know?
hiker11
Hi , the back of the head was higher than the front, and more hair all over his body, more hair on top of his head, and Im sure he was 10 to 12 feet tall, If I were standing were he was you would hardly see me, Im 5' 7 he was double my hight for sure, since that day, I have found many tracks in differant places, and differant sizes, here is one 16 inch track in the sand.Click to view attachment.

hiker11,
Were you able to get to the spot where the possible Bigfoot was seen to look for any evidence?

Edit to say, I found your pics of the track-way in the snow very interesting, maybe you could re post them in this thread.
hiker11
Hi, I have only gone back to within 2 kl of that ridge, I was growled at and have been followed in those mountains, dont know if I will ever go back in there, I know that sounds strange but I have been hiking in there for 30 years, and the last few years have heard and seen strange things, which I never heard or seen before in there, the last time I was hiking in there alone I was clearing trail and heard and smelled them, they stunk bad like wet dog and sulfer, I felt I was been watched and decided to leave, as I was walking I took a pic real quick and saw what looked like two sasquatch, one sitting down and brownish black in color, and the other one moving above the black one to its left, here is a pic, Im not saying this is another sighting, because I only saw them for a few seconds, but looks real to me, have to zoom in on pic,Click to view attachment
mkianni
Well I certainly appreciate your encounter and I don't doubt what you saw, but from what I see in that last pic you posted, it looks to me like the color of the object you pointed out is the exact same color as other areas of shading in the picture. I suspect its nothing more than shadowing.

My opinion only, please don't take offense.

Were you able to cast any of the prints you encountered?
Have any researchers you've talked to considered going to the area in question and setting up trail cameras or other methods of research/investigation?
billgreen2005bigfoot
hey hiker thanks for great update above sketch of the creature that you saw, i realy like everyone above replys regarding this sighting . bill
hiker11
Hi mkianni, I know that pic is hard to tell but if you can zoom in on the black object, you will see it alot better, I have not cast any tracks yet but, but will soon, I talked to some researchers but they seem to be more interested in other areas, like Harrison lake area, were sasquatch have been seen for hundreds of years, nowadays with the price of gas and things it seems to cost alot to head out in the mountains, Im lucky I can get in the mountains from my house in 10 min, But to get to some of my hiking areas it takes 3 or 4 hours of hiking just to get there, no trails in some places, there is some caves around were I saw the sasquatch on the ridge, could maby check them out one day, but kinda spooked about going near that area right now.

Thats a shame, especially considering the cave system you mentioned in the proximity, I personally would waste no time checking it out.

The snow tracks you photographed, were these also in the same general area?
hiker11
Hi, The snow tracks were a about 6 or 7 miles from were I saw the sasquatch, and about a mile from the alouette dam, one researcher thought there must be a family or more in here roaming around, I agree, I have heard that wooping sound a few times, and lots of smells on some hikes, Im trying to get some of my friends to go with me in there but there not into hiking and are scared of the bush and bears, I have one friend that goes with me most times with his dog.

Actually, when you zoom in on that black splooge, it does resemble a person all covered in dark hair sitting at the foot of a tree.

Very interesting.
hiker11
Hi, I got a couple of emails, saying it looks like a young sasquatch about 6 to 7 feet, one guy said I should have zoomed in more when I took the pic, I dont think so when your spooked abit, and think your looking a sasquatch, you dont think about zooming in, just think how fast I can get out of hereClick to view attachment

I think thats the problem, when you zoom in, on the quality of pic posted, it degrades so much you can`t tell what it is...
hiker11
Hi, I was hoping the picture would be better, but I was a bit nervous and walking by when I took the pic, I had a few people look at the pic, and they say it looks like it is looking up towards the hill behind it, were I saw something moving obove it, with its right arm on its left leg, so it maby didnt see me walk by, I was clearing the trail and cutting with my saw, and knew I was been watched, I could also smell them bad, and heard them once in awhile, I went to the creek to wash my hands, and stayed there for about a hour, I heard someone whisel, thought they were calling there dog, so I went back and thats when I saw something moving obove the black object, never saw anyone with there dog, here is the area were I was.Click to view attachmentClick to view attachment[attachment=
24879:randy_022.jpg] it looks like the object is black and has hair, and sitting down with its back to the tree, hard to tell what it is, looks more sasquatch than anything else.
hiker11
These are the only two pictures I have of what looks like sasquatch, could be the same one in both pics,Click to view attachmentClick to view attachment both times I could smell them, like wet dog hair.

Hey, Hiker11. Now are you saying that you actually saw something here, or is this just a picture that you took and found this shadow in it later? On your original sighting, was the "tallywhacker" standing up or down in a relaxed position?--ufo

These are the only two pictures I have of what looks like sasquatch, could be the same one in both pics

Could you tell us the circumstances behind the second picture? When has it taken, how far away, was that animal moving, etc.

Thx
hiker11
Hi ufo, and Morgoth, when I took the fist pic, the one sitting by the tree, I didnt see the black object till I got home, I saw something moving above the black object, and thats when I took the pic, The second pic, I was coming around a corner and looked across the creek and saw the black object, going down the steep ridge threw the bushes like you see in the pic, I took the pic, and left fast, I thought there might be more around, I could smell them realy good, I dont think this is a bear, to much hair on it, you can see the pointy head, and no ears like a bear. I have seen strange things in there, and heard the strange sounds too. I could talk alot about sasquatch but most would not belive me, but I dont realy care I know what I have seen, and the one I saw last year was around 10 feet, and I would bet my life on it, not 7 or 8 feet like most say, and he was old like he was on his last legs, and was taking a last look around before he dies, thats what it seemed like to me.

So, I gather, his "tallywhacker" was just hanging down, if he was on his last legs.--ufo

Hi, when I first saw him get up from sitting on the rock ledge, he walked to his left and I thought he had a tail, but it was his tallywacker, he had yellow hands, and was thin, I think because he was so old.

Well, this wondering about the tallywhacker may seem perverse, but it is important. You see, apes have a baculum (a bone supporting their penis) and their tallywhacker is sheathed and you would not see it unless they were intending to mate. If the member is just hanging down, it is an indication of a human-like creature, and not an ape. I know of a few reports where the creature is actively sporting an erect human-like member. This indicates a peculiar sexual behavior that may be helpful in comprehending what is happening here.--ufo

hiker11
Hi, well the area were I have been hiking for 30 years or more is Salish native hunting and fishing areas, for hundreds of years, This area is also famous for Slumachs lost gold mine of pit lake, around here there have been lots of people missing over the last hundred years, I have had some strange things happen, once a friend and me were hiking and we stoped to look at this map, and we heard cracking in the bush, and when we looked around we saw a old lady or man, with long silvery hair, and only 100 ft from us and we could not see a face, and she or he was looking right at us for about 3 or 4 seconds, and then it walked down the trail away from us, dressed in old clothing from along time ago, we said what the ----- was that, it didnt say hi or anything, my friends dog was with us and she always runs up to people, this time she just sat there looking like us which was strange, another time I was walking down the trail and heard people talking not far away ahead of me, I thought I would say hi to them in a few second, but when I got a little further along I could see for along ways on the trail, nothing there, then behind me in the bush I heard mubling again, so I thought it must be kids roaming around, another time I was way up this creek and I left my hat and a banna by the creek, so I went back to get them only about 5 min to get back, and they were gone, and could smell that wet dog and sulfer smell, so thats when I started thinking about sasquatch, then that day I saw the big old one, I could smell old tire rubber, like rubber smells, never smelled it since, I was hiking last year with my 12 year old son and he said dad there is a kid running threw the bush over there, I said were and when we got to the spot I didnt see anything, my son said over there behind that tree, so I took this pic, still not sure what this is but looks like a very young sasquatch, with no hair on it face yet, you can see eyes, nose, and mouth, here is a pic, anyone got a idea what this is.Click to view attachment a blow up Click to view attachment I have alot more to say but were to start, thanks for replys.

Some friends of mine think it looks like a younger version of this one, they look alike, here is the two pics.Click to view attachmentClick to view attachment
Crow Logic
Could be a Black Bear. Since you describe a smell like wet dog hair consider bears are canine and while I don't know if bear smell its something to consider. Whisteling, or a sound very much like whisteling is something that Racoons do as well as a kind of chatter. Having once had 2 pet racoons I learned about the whisteling which is is most likely a high pitched vocalization.

The bigfoot head shot on the right looks like an artist representation of the creature in the Patterson/Gimlin film. It doesen't strike me as a real photograph.

hiker11
Hi ufo, his tallywacker was hanging down, plus he was very old, never thought I would be talking about that, also my friend looked up to see the sasquatch, but the sasquatch was back to its left near the trees and he missed it, I waited for a few min and he walked back and sat down on the rock ledge with his hands on his knees like us, when he sat down he bent his knees way out, and same when he got up, My friend was not to interested with anything those days, even if you gave him 5 million he just found out he has cancer, so I take him and his dog in there to go hiking, to keep him calm and in shape, he is more of a beliver now, he has smelled them and seen tracks too, bears smell more like crap and usually look at you before they take off, after I was growled at I am more nervous in there and wonder if there going to hurt me or be friendly, I know that sounds strange to none belivers, but to anyone who has seen one they know what im talking about, your life will change after this, sometimes for better or worse, I know they need bones or a body to prove it, but there out there.
wudewasa
hiker,

Can you describe the hair of the gray animal?

How long was it?

What shade of gray can you compare it to?

Thanks.
hiker11
Hi, I wouldent say he was a animal, looked way more human than ape, his hair was long on his arms and legs, about 5 or 6 inches, his hair on his head was realy long, down past his shoulders, like I said he was very old, and his hair had along time to grow, He looked around 80 years old to me, he had a hunch back and walked slow he took big strides only took a few steps and he was back by the trees, he was silvery gray like a gray squirel he is tall about 10 feet, the sun was shining on him, and I could see his yellow hands, they were huge, like a base ball mit, He was thinner than most sasquatch, maby he was just so old and on his last days, so was not healthy looking like others, maby he was hungrey and looking for a meal, also two goldish things to his left about 4 feet high, have no idea what those were.

Hiker11, did these goldish things look like animals, or just indistinct b*lls? Did they move with Bigfoot, or did they sit still?--ufo
hiker11
Hi ufo, Those goldish things did not move, and we could not tell what they were, dont know if they were conected to the sasquatch, but when we went back with some sasquatch researchers, they were gone too, they were bright and you could see them along ways off, that was a strange day.

Yes, it does sound rather strange. Please take a good camera next time you go back there. I suggest an Olympus 18x optical zoom digital camera. Plan to shoot up the whole card full, 500 or so high-resolution photos on a 1 gig card. Practice by making photos of flying aircraft. Learn to shoot as fast as you can.--ufo

Could they have been reflectors of some kind? Did you go to the actual spot where you viewed the subject? If I missed all that I do apologize.
Bitter Monk
The woods around here are littered with "gold things", "white things", "red things". Damn bow hunters. A real man doesn't need reflectors to find his way to a tree stand in the dark.

WOW that is beautiful scenery in those pictures!!!! I really want to go to BC now more than ever! Awesome sighting..............Saily
