Just wanted to let yall know Melissa and I went live today on Talkshoe and it was a great success. Having started out on Blogtalk when Sean Forker graciously offered us a spot there in the same time slot, we encountered audio problems and the biggest complaint about the show was the audio. Bipto suggested we try Talkshoe and we're smitten with it. For the podcasters and live radio shows I think Talkcast is definitely the way to go!
Melissa and I didn't have a guest scheduled for today, it was an introductory show talking about our show schedule and who all we we're interviewing. Anyone interested in checking us out go to:
Let's Talk Bigfoot RadioOur next guest is Montra Frietas, researcher, former BFRO curator, wife of John Frietas of
Blue North and Project Nightscream She'll be on the show May 9th. We have all the shows scheduled on the site so check us out to see who all we're going to interview. We might even get RB onto the show!
Talkshoe even comes with its own chat software which is a nifty little item where you can listen to the show and chat at the same time, make comments or ask questions of the guests. If you want to ask questions live on the show the call in number is:(724) 444-7444 and the Talkcast ID: 30301. The shows are archived if Wednesday nights aren't a good time for you and they can be either listened to on the site, or downloaded to your computer.
At any rate, just wanted to let everybody know, we're not on Blogtalk anymore, we're on Talkshoe and we LOVE IT. Thanks Bip!

Sorry I missed it. I tried talkshoe.com but it wouldn't open. I will give it a shot later on.

May 13 2007, 07:34 AM
It wouldn't open???

Well, maybe my link was wrong.. it opened for me, but here's the other thing you can do. Go to Talkshoe.com and choose the orange button at the top that says "Browse" on the next screen, look down the row of links on the left. Choose the category for "Science" and click that. In the next screen we'll be about the 13th show down. Look for our logo and the link for Let's Talk Bigfoot! If that's not the problem you had let me know and I'll see if I can figure out what went wrong.
Hey... if all your suggestions turn out that well Bip... I'm a happy guinea pig LOL

I was wondering if you had heard the Kevin Smith show out of Arizona, I done a segment on Australian Yowies about 12 months ago, is this a genuine show or do they just take the crap out of you. They phoned me asking about my research and I was only to happy to do the segment, did you or anyone here the program.

I didn't hear that program Yowie. Is the show calling people up out of the blue or was it a planned interview they did with you?
Incidentally, Dr. Jeff Meldrum was on Let's Talk Bigfoot last night (
LINK). The interview went over the usual hour long show to give Dr. Meldrum plenty of time to discuss his work. The archive of the show is available for download or you can listen to it there on the Talkshoe site using the Talkshoe player.
Thanks for listening!

The guy had read about my sightings over the net and contacted me to see if I wanted to do the interview, which I agreed to and a time was set at a later stage to do the interview.

Hi, guys, especially Melissa and Teresa. I tried my darndest to get into the chat on the site and never could get in. I suspect it has something to do with being on dial-up, or maybe because I mainly use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. I feel like if I had used IE, I might have been able to get into the chat. I will, however, download the show and give my opinion on it. I will make an attempt next week to get into the chat, but I cannot make any promises. I will probably have issues as long as I am on dial-up, so if you don't see me in that chat, it is nothing personal. But it was a great show with Craig Woolheater last week which I had to, of course, download after the fact. Ah, well, such is life.
