Searching by air, they suddenly see a bipedal hominid walking along a path! Is it wearing pants? Anyway, absolutely nobody says "what the hell?" so I'm pretty sure it's real.

I wish they would have landed the damn plane!

its pretty convenient to fly by fast so that you never truly get a good look. i'm thinking this is pretty suspect. also notice that the "blob" in question never really picks up its pace. most wild animals tend to run when being flown over close by a plane or helicopter. its also slightly weird how the "blob" is walking out in the open on the edge of the air field instead of walking more in the brush a mere 100 yards away? to many questions to be considered tangible. it is a plane that they are in right?

next time they should land the plane, then go film their friend in the ape suit, then put it on you tube. it would be much more worth the watch.

edit to remove a splurge about flying the helicopter until i made the video bigger and realized that it was a plane.... blah blah blah

The high costs of chopper rentals makes that one expensive YouTube hoax. unsure.gif

I agree, the creature doesn't really seem to goto far away from where it was orignally spotted. Which to me makes no sense, even a person would move, plus these guys likely can radio the ground. Why did no one radio and get someone of the ground to inspect it?
mkianni
It was a helicopter? I was thinking Cessna. Hell, they could have just hovered over it!

brown bee keeper outfit? ........why would it just hang there? ........Bigfoot Bee keeper service,,,,,,,,,,,lol ....this has to be at CryptoCraCkedMundo by now......

To me, it doesn't look like a hoax, but it may be mistaken identity. The second longer clip shows they did turn around and approach it several times. It could be a guy in a big baggy brown suit, but after only one watching, it's pretty hard to tell what it is.

I figured out how to grab youtube movie source media and break it into frames for analysis. This is going to be very usefull. Hey admins, can you raise my 2 MB limit?

Freaky. What's someone with cane doing walking around in the middle of nowhere in a big brown coat?

WOW! Totally debunked (or explained?) in about 4 hours. Amazing work Morgoth, pat yourself on the back and have a beer my friend! I can't believe there was that much resolution in that video. I actually thought it might be a walking bear (on all fours) when I first saw it.

We're going to have all kinds of fun with YouTube now!

PS- I also wanted to point out that we should all be extra suspicious of videos first released to YouTube (or anything similar) when anyone should know, or quikcly find out, that some tabloid supposedly paid 6 figures for that crappy Manitoba footage last year.

Man here I was just checking my fence line in my Carthart jacket and overalls and this jerk buzzs me over and over. I think it was the DEA. Good thing they didn't see Cousin Opie with that sack of seed.

I got a jacket and overalls that same color; put em on, instant Bigfoot.

Edited to say I restated what was already stated before. Sorry.

Look at the airport runway and chopper landing pad close by. The flight is in a chopper which could have hovered right over the subject.

This didn't take place exactly in the middle of nowhere, but around an area where a guy with a vidcam in a helicopter accounts for lots of explanations how a hoax would be perpetrated.

Just my 2 cents.

I totally agree! IF/when the next real footage comes out, I doubt that we will see if on YouTube first. Lots of questions about this one. Good job Morgoth! Course it could have been a BF with a stick... new_whistle.gif

Why 4 hours ? anyone not blind can watch that and tell it is no Bigfoot. This is just another case of fools with to much time on their hands. Crap like this film and 90% of the other stuff about Bigfoot online only hurts the real thing.

definitely a cane/walking stick in the right hand.

i think what we're dealing with here is a far cry from the squatch, more like a drifter/hobo.

Pretty good analysis for only watching it once, right on the money I think.

Morgoth, excellent stuff you do with those videos as always. Some day the great one may appoint you "resident video hoax busting wizard."...........or something.
Well anyway, you got my vote, great job.
Ace!
I don't know anything about the area or what might possibly might be in season, but it could just be a hunter with his rifle barrel pointed in a safe direction, toward the ground. The thing, if wearing something heavy or large (coat) could have a hunting jacket on, or a ghille suit.
bipto
Rifle, huh? That's a good point. Could be...

Me thinks Morgoth is right on the money.

Great job! I could see a lot more on here than I could on youtube (which just looked like a brown blur).

With this new version of the video, it's pretty clear we're looking at a person and not a sasquatch.

Waiting for their close up of course smile.gif My guess is someone was just trying to get to work, and now that poor person is being compared to a sasquatch - that would be a bad day.. lmao

Hi,

As i was researching from a different point of view, i was able to getter the following information.

Helicopter is a Eurocopter BK-117. The only registered in TN are 3 Lifeflight ones (N-101 VU, N-102VU, N-103VU). They are operated by the Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Out of there four ground bases, I was able to identify the airport in the video via google earth. It seems to be the Tullahoma Reg. Airport. If the helicopter has the standard istrumentations it seems that he is flying at an airspeed between 80 to 100 knots.

Regarding the why someone filmed it?
I think the crew was sent out to identify the target, or was anyway aproaching the airport and was then pleased to take a look. As the Pilot was flying over the airport in such a dangerous way, the airport was probably closed for trafik due to this intruder. Let´s see what the news mean.
The reason why they flew so fast, is probably that they where afraid of a terrorist. A hovering helicopter at such close distance is no problem to bring down, even with a glock. Speed and changes in flightlevel makes aiming very difficult.

Probably a misidentification here. But Why walk in what appears to be a ditch when there is a dirt road not 5 yards away? Give me a choice and I'm walking the road everytime. Also, I don't think a hunter would hold his gun....no, we don't walk with our rifles as they were a walking stick.

Sorry, this isn't packaged software, but something I wrote for this purpose, so there is no installer, instructions, etc. However I plan to go back and pick apart everything on youtube and post the results right here. The individual image frames will be available for further analysis by the forum.

FYI for anyone who is interested: for grabbing YouTube video and saving it locally, you will want to look at the VideoDownloader extension for Firefox. For splitting the video series into individual frames, that's another matter entirely.

You've obviously never been around alot of Appalachian folk...

new_whistle.gif

As for the film being taken near Tullahoma, I could believe that, with the outlay of the land that's scantly shown...

If (and that's a big word, that "IF") it was indeed taken near Arnold Airforce Base, I can attest that there's been quite a number of Bigfoot sightings in and around that area (more instances of vocalizations in that area, to be exact, atleast from what I've recieved, heard from others and been told)...Lots of woods on the base, and the further south Ya go from that area, the more reports seem to pop up (the infamous "Flintville" not being too awfully far southwest of that local)...

But personally, I ain't buying it being what we're looking for...The "cane" object in and of itself screams "no", not to mention the fact that whomever it is doesn't seem to give a damn that a helicopter is buzzing their location repeatedly...

Affirmative.
ScewyLewy
Can't be certain what it really is, but if I was walking around and a chopper was buzzing me, I certainly would be looking at the chopper the whole time.
I also probably would stop in my tracks.
I likely wouldn't hold my rifle like that.
I wouldn't walk around in my ghilli suit, but take it off for the treck.
Why not walk the road?

Anyways we will never know.
If you believe it is a squatch and that squatches are the cause of wood knocking, then maybe that is the old fellas trusty wood knocking stick.
Data
Isn´t there anybody that lives near tullahoma? Or someone that can just phone the airport and ask? I think they wouldn´t answer me, a froeigner that asks about security topics, and intruders. This case can be closed if there is just someone serious, that goes over and ask. For contact information goto:

http://www.tullahoma-tn.com/airport.html

or

http://www.mc.vanderbilt.edu/lifeflight/web/contacts.htm

I think it would be easier to get in contact with the lifeflight people.

Even there is no BF in the video, it would be great to know what exactly is seen in the video. We can use this information on other blobs in the future. We also can test some different computerprograms to enhance the bad footage, and use it on other videos in the future. This video is still a good subject to research on, and one of the few that is 100% debunkable.
Randy_Hutchings
I live 35 minutes from Arnold Airforce Base and Tullahoma, but to be quite frank, I don't see anything in that video that needs any form of official explanation...

My personal opinion, it's someone walking along the fence collecting cans...

Loads of folks in this area spend their days doing just that...
AilaLynn
laugh.gif at first I thought it was someone in a big bear suit that is too loose and baggy on him laugh.gif but yeah it makes sense w/ the walking cane / stick and a coat...

that certainly is some mighty softwaring, keep it up my friend.
As for this video, I reckon it's the fella litter picking and the reason he didn't look up was because he was scanning the ground for cans, considering where he was (at an airfield) I'm not surprised he didn't look up. I couldn't see that much detail in the clip anyway, so, for all I know he did look up.
