BFRO report 6722 is interesting because it talks about the fear that the witness had of not being believed, even by her nearest and dearest.
To those who post here and have seen BF. Who did you tell? How long did you wait? What reactions have you had?
I wonder how many just keep it to themselves? Some of the reports that come into the major websites are decades old. I wonder what it would be like to keep it quiet for years.
I am sometimes embarrassed to talk about my interest in BF, even to friends that I have had for a long time. I can't imagine what it would be like to tell someone that you had a unambiguous sighting.

I haven't seen a Bigfoot (yet!) - but I assume it must be something similiar to the reaction I get when I bring up the subject on the boats.

Sideways glances... smirks... and only occasional interest in the subject. Haven't received ridicule... yet!

Friends, one family member (who laughed, but now sends me articles from her paper), and mostly its disbelief.
Although, i now have two friends who want to go with me one weekend

If i ever tell my mother (whos in her 80s), she'd have me put away !! She still thinks ray wallace was behind the whole thing (tv has her brainwashed).

I'm just ...open about it .always have been ,probably always will be.I'm not out to make anyone believe or disbelieve in bigfoot...but if one person considerers the possibility for a second,then great .if not fine also....I'm not a religion...so I'm not in it to make converts to the "Church of Squatch "..they can view me about it however they see fit...I stopped caring about being laughed at a long time ago...

Good thread Jan. If I ever see one I'll be back here to write about it. Hope others do. There is so much interesting stuff out there.
