Anyone else read this? I have it, and found it interesting, though to me, alot of it what he said, didnt add up.

Ive always sat on the fence of the PG film, though Ive leaned toward the Patterson Hoax theory a little more. This book didnt change my view one way or the other, but I wonder how he managed to get hold of some of his info when it seems no one has. I find it hard to believe that some of the questions he asked had not been brought up before.

Robert
I have not read it. What questions does he pose that made you go, "Hmmmmm"?

Its very simple - a lot of what Long has produced are lies told to him by others - many of which have been proven outright, others are simple commonsense - something Long doesn't have much of.

I think it was all the doughnut eating that caused the problems - way too much sugar for one person.

But hey, why spoil a good story with truths....

Getting all hopped up on sugar really heightens the drama too, I guess. Who can forget the tension in the "opening the briefcase" scene or the ever popular "nudging the recorder closer" elements to the story?
Long's awful writing makes the term "purple prose" look like washed out lavender. :new_weirdsmiley:

thanks. I looked around the site, but could not locate any threads on it. Seems like Long has made a lot of enemies here.

There is an entire section dedictated to this book - this thread is now in it!

This is supposed to be Bob H doing the Patty.
I have heard alot of mentions on this here but this is the first time I got to see it. Does anyone know if there is a better version available to download somewhere? Is this from the National Geographic program (never seen it either)?
LAL
Wow. Where did you find that .gif? I've been looking for it since Kal Korff's website with all the info on the recreation they were doing went down.

Geez I dont remember where I found it. I was doing alot of googling last night trying to find a pic of Bob H. It was on some forum though that dealt with mysteries I think. If this was part of a TV program I would like to know. Despite alllll the discussion here regarding his claim, I havent quite ruled it out personally.
LAL
Please try to remember. I'd like to see the source.

It's BH in a Morris suit built for the recreation. It was evidently in an NG special, which convinced the wife of a cyber friend (she was a sceptical anthropologist) BH isn't in the PGF.

Check out Bill Miller's article here.
