My son is six and doesn't know about Bigfoot from me. He has heard about Bigfoot from a friend's older sister. Regardless, he brought home a book from the school library titled, "Bigfoot Cinderrrrrella," by Tony Johnston and James Warhola. It parallels the Cinderella tale, but with sasquatches.

Here's a quote from when Rrrrrella has to flee from the prince:

QUOTE
The prince lurched from the water, dripping and crushed. His dream woman--shaggy as the forest floor, smelly as a fish, and strong--was gone.

Scratching his craggy head, he slumped down on a boulder.

"Drrrrrat! Drrrrrat! Drrrrrat!" He gnashed his mossy teeth. "Where my stinking beauty go?"

Cinderrrrrella's story line reminds of Shrek, which came out seven months or so after the book.
