Good morning. I'm relatively new here. Recently I found a LONG thread concerning a close sighting by a guy out west, who was camping alone on a fishing trip. There was considerable criticism about the report; inadequate flashlight..., then the actual guy came into the thread. There were pictures eventually, of the site, with white granite rock. The encounter involved him shooting a .45 to try to scare the animal. He himself was horrified. Can anyone direct me to that thread. I can't seem to find it now....

Paul, in all the years i've "known" or read Jim, i realize the man has a steel trap memory.

Actually, i dont think he uses the search feature, he recalls it right from his grey matter !!!
