In your lifetime, hand on heart, do you honestly believe that you will witness Scientific acceptance for these Animals ??

I don't & i'm only young ( sorry LAL, i was kidding about being 74  ) & that's for various different reasons & no particular ones..

I'm not even too sure if i'd like it thinking about as then you'd possibly have every madman in N America out trying to observe one IF they didn't already have one in a Zoo which would be the last thing i'd want anyway.

To be honest..no I don't think it will happen, even though I wish it would..frustrating.. :icon_bang:

I like to think that it will happen. You just never know when or where it will happen. My money is on one getting hit by a car or shot by some hunter (not hunting for Bigfoot just hunting)
But then I also believe that they have been killed before and it was hushed up by the powers that be. And chances are if it is not handled right will be in the furture unless the person tells reporters and stuff first.

I doubt it. I think whenever one is killed by a hunter, or a car, and the news gets out, suddenly a black unmarked helicopter lands in a nearby field, or a black four door sedan rolls up, and some black suits get out, and then and you never hear about any of it ever again.

BTW, is your name pronounced "Oranjaablooom" in the soft French manner, or just "Orangebloom" in the Anglicised way?

To have them become Scientifically Accepted we first have to get enough valid evidence to show the probability they exist. There's a big difference between possibility and probability. Once the probability aspect is solved, that should get enough funding to undertake some serious large scale field studies. Once that's done, and enough hard, verifiable evidence is collected, then we can start to talk about accepting it. Until then it's a shot in the dark of when or ever that will be done.

Probably not. I'm starting the twilight of my life. If lucky, I've got another 25 years or so.

But all it will take is a single carcass.

I'm a big fan of Alvin and Heidi Toffler. One of their major premises is that change is accelerating. Even in my own lifetime, what I've seen tends to support their premise.

So who knows?.........

I remember NOT long ago, I was telling myself " Ya know before my lifetime is over I'd love to see science actually film the giant Squid". Well, THAT happened alot sooner that I expected.
I am gonna say YES to this one. The reason being, is that there is more knowledge being shared with other researchers and there is more being done about this mystery than there was in the 80's and earlier decades. So..hopfelly...who knows.
