ok i not a skeptic but that is horse rap! its a lion or cub with sumpthin in its mouth!
the only thing that makes me believe it may be a lion is the posture and the shoulders when it walks. other then that I see zero resembalance to a Thylacine, Ive never seen footage of it either. so basicaly i don't think it's alion and if it is it has something seriously wrong with it.

If I remember right they decided that they did not have a good enough sample of DNA to work with. The DNA of that cob in a bottle I guess was not as good as they thought it would be.

Thats a mangy dingo or wild dog carrying dead animal carcass in its mouth....dingoes and dogs with mange are pretty common in some areas on Australia....would not get too excited about the footage......cheers rod
I believe there was some old tazzy footage in an old "Croc hunter" episode IIRC. I know for a fact they had the vid of the last one living in captivity but I am pretty sure they had some footage of one in the wild too that was grainy and similar to this.
the tail looks a bit different than a dog or lions tail (looks like it has a fat base)
