As a last resort, you may want to contact Weird New Jersey. I don't know how far back their archives go but they may have some data on file that you can use.

I will try. I get the mag all the time, but didnt think to ask due to them not being around in the 70/80's. Thanks, good call.

Great clippings! I'm moving back to Cumberland County in about a month, I'm going to shoot some pics of the area where I had my "almost sure (lol)" encounter.

Have you checked the BFRO and other sites that have databases? Sometimes witnesses will submit reports to those sites and a lot of times more than one of the sites.

the area of white meadow lake along with sussex ,warren, and northwestern passaic county are in my opinion prime terrain for bigfoot to inhabit. most people dont know but these areas encompass a large remote area with just about any landscape you can think of from swamps to mountain ridgelines as well as abundant vegetation, water sources and wildlife. i personally have had a couple of odd encounters in this general area.

The only place I know of in Northern NJ was the finding of tracks in the snow by Park Rangers at High Pt. State Park back in the 70s.

I've heard that there has been a long-tern data gathering investigation on-going in that area for some time.
