Full Version: Primate foot morphology?

Hey! How's everyone been doing? I've had a rough couple of years, but now I'm slowly getting back into my surfing routine!

This is non- BF related, but one of my prop buddies is making a sculpt of "Jack the Undead Monkey" from the "Pirates of the Carribean" movies, and he needs some anatomical reference for the feet. He's using a small human skeleton as the base, but the feet still need rearranged to look more monkey-like. I've looked on googles image search for pics, but their search function doesn't seem too well versed on monkey foot morphology. new_specool.gif Here's his progress so far-

Can anyone here hook him up?

Thanks!

Hi Sarge. Nice :icon14: ...Ooh that makes me itch to get sculpting again new_specool.gif .

Here's a link to a page on Bone Clones that might be a kick-off point. Just scroll down.

What exactly does he need? Skeletal references or soft tissue or both? Does it have to be a capuchin?

Basically just a good view of how the bones are laid out should do it. Capuchin would be perfect, but since this doesn't have to be scientifically accurate, any of the similar species should do just fine.

thanks!
