I found this on flickr.com [I'm "RocKiteman_2001" there btw]:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/kellymccown/378716729/I tried searching for something about it on BFF but didn't find anything. Searching on a DIAL-UP connection doesn't help....
:icon_bang:
Anybody know anything about this "hand"?

Not sure but, wasn't Biscardi parading around with a supposed Bigfoot hand sometime ago?

so a bigfoot hand was found.......but not the rest of the body. sweet. hands do typically just tend to lie around in Idaho, I suppose.

You see? These are the loonies that Meldrum's work attracted to the ISU campus. I bet that's what really got under those Physics professors collective skins last fall - not Meldrum's own research per se, but the hucksters that cling to his coattails.

It's nearly impossible to judge from this photo what is in the jar. It may be a fleshed hand, but it could be rubber for all we know. Only a thorough examination would be able to identify it.
Based on the source though, I'd have to go for the rubber option....

I may be mistaken..but the "original" hand found in Idaho was nearly reduced to bones, or at least deteriorated to the point where more detailed testing was requred to even I.D. it, I thought.
If so..man, amazing that the preservatsion solution also managed to reconstitute the flesh. Dang..if they had just put it in a larger jar, they could have re-grown the entire thing!

My observation is it looks awlful small. When you place an object in a round jar it looks bigger than it is. This object appears about the size of a human hand so I would assume it's real size is smaller than an average human adult.

Personally, I think it's a rubber chicken.

It really hurts Bigfoot research as a whole,
when people come forth claiming to have hands, or a lower leg and foot (Biscardi) and yet the only place you hear about it is in an article or two. (Or even worse, in a documentary or something shot by the owner of the body part).
There needs to be serious research done on these things and that research needs to be SHARED. If that hand in question were in fact a Bigfoot hand, would they be able to prove it? And if they did, would they even share the results?
Obviously the answer to both questions so far has been no. A real shame.
I for one would turn in any body part found in the wilderness immediately, and freely share any information gathered from it. Why is it we can't expect the same from 'researchers'?

I am a fan of torture so last night RB and I watched Biscardi's new DVD which discussed the hand. The hand they showed does indeed have flesh on it and matches the picture above of the hand in the jar. The explanation was painful to listen to, but it was found in Idaho and appears to be the same one everyone has been talking about. Alton Higgins wrote an
article about the hand back in July, and pictures of the same x-rays from the DVD are included. I'm guessing it was never bones. But it's still a bear....

Many of these researchers have another agenda, regardless of whether or not their evidence is worth further study.

Ah crap.
I much prefered the idea that they had figure out a way to grow sasquatches in a jar from bone fragments..
Oh well, back to the drawing board :glare:
