The book is out of print and must be considered rare to be going for that much. Another good place to search for out of print books is bookfinder.com. They show the ones available on amazon.com and one from another seller for $88.00. I found two copies available at powells.com for $60.00 each. I hope it's a good book!

It is a very good book, but I don't know if it's $88 good. That's new college textbook territory and Bindernagel's work is a small paperback.
It would be great if a publisher like Hancock House picked the rights up and did a reissue.
The problem for even a small specialist publisher like Hancock House is that the market for such a book is going to be pretty small.
Kudos, then, to them for republishing Green's The Ape Among Us.
Support John Green and Hancock House and order that one. Much of the same territory is covered in that one.
