Man, these sighting reports have kept my nose glued to the screen to the point my eyes are going fuzzy.

I just knew getting back into the bigfoot arena wouldn't be good for my health.
I've also started having bigfoot dreams again...

Last night I dreamt that myself, my wife, and a friend, were trying to take a shortcut in a 4x4. The friend and I had gotten out to clear some debris, when I heard an approaching thumping noise. Sure enough, bigfoot comes running along, about 30-40 yards away, running from my right to my left. My friend and I stood rooted to the spot, but as the bigfoot ran past, I started whistling at it. That was followed by me shouting at it in an attempt to get its attention, much to the horror of my friend and my wife. That's the point that I woke up, but it makes me wonder.... Do other forum members have vivid bigfoot dreams?

Well, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who dreams about bf!
I didn't have too many dreams about bf right after I had my sighting, but that was probably because I didn't sleep very much for about a month.

But since then, I have had numerous dreams about seeing one. The most vivid was one night when I was home alone and I dozed off in my recliner in front of the tube. I have french doors going out onto the back deck of my house and I dreamed that I was standing at the doors watching as a huge bf walked out from behind my hubby's shop and walked across the back yard. When I woke up, I really had to think for a few minutes to realize that I had been dreaming.

Yegads, as bad as my dreams have been at least I've never seen a real one, which probably makes your dreams all that much more detailed.
It's no wonder you had trouble sleeping....

You know what I find so strange about the dreams is, at no time during the sighting did I ever feel threatened. Still, my mind played tricks on me and caused me to be terrified. I know we've covered this many times before, but I find it amazing that our sub-concious mind will let us see vivid things that make us afraid in our concious times.

Yep - I dreamt of one earlier this year - kinda made me think I might need to get a new hobby.
I dreamt I was sitting next to a mountain creek on a hike, resting, and heard and saw a bigfoot walk through the trees on the other side of the creek - freaky thing was, it was so real, I didn't know I was dreaming until I woke, which is actually kind of unusual for me, as I'm always pretty clear that I'm dreaming.

I knew I wasn't the only one fixated on this creature to the point of dreaming about it!!!
I have had
many dreams about our beloved Squatch. The last one was no more than a week ago. I was in a mountainous area with lots of snow. I set out on skis with a video camera to find a Squatch. Just as I came to an abrupt cliff, I look down and there it is! I got so flustered trying to steady the camera that I slipped off the cliff and plummeted to the basin where the Squatch was. A bunch of pine trees were breaking my fall, and of course I kept the camera steady the whole way down (only in my dreams, right?), getting some decent footage of the creature as it fled into the pine forest. When I finally hit the bottom, I had a very scary feeling that I was now in HIS terrain and powerless to his whim. That's when I woke up. It was 3:30am, and getting back to sleep was tricky!

oh wow... I have had dreams of them to but one of them I was out with Arky and one of the bigfoot came and stole her while I was right there beside her. It just took her and threw her over its shoulder and took off with her. I was terrified but I was more scared of it keeping Arky so I took off after it and then I woke up. I couldn't go back to sleep for a while after that dream either! It seemed so real at the time. I knew it was just a dream but it left me feeling like it was real.

Can all you squatch dreamers give me some "Purnters" on how to have one? I have never had one.....EVER.
Infact, I can't remember the last dream or nightmare I had that I remembered when I woke up.

I know that pain relievers hospitals give out induce nightmares big time. I had a hernia operation and the stuff they gave me had me thinking aliens were in the room with my while their craft was hovering right outside the window.

Wow Ranshirl, you dreamed me kidnapped huh? That was just wishful thinking on your part!
I have had only two dreams dealing with the subject of bigfoot.
One was long ago when I dreamed that Fishbone, Bipto and I met up and went on a bigfoot driving expedition. Didn't see one though, but the company was kewl...LOL
Then I dreamed another one where I was watching a grazing cow in a pasture near the treeline of a thick forest when it suddenly just falls down. Then I see a large bigfoot step out of the treeline and begin repeatedly hiting the large cow with it's arms, using both arms at the same time, just pummeling this poor cow. Then the bigfoot simply drags the cow off dragging it by its back legs. But somewhere along the way while dragging the cow off, it stops and looks right at me and I get this cold fear that runs all through me from that gaze. Then I woke up. Amazingly it took a while to shake that fear I felt.

Make a point of saying to yourself, "If I dream tonight, I will not only remember it in the morning, but I will recognize it as a dream while it's happening."
Believe it or not, it works. Lucid dreaming, good stuff man!

Or... maybe the drugs
don’t cause hallucinations at all, maybe they just enable the mind to focus adequately enough to be able to see the aliens, even though they are using their powers of invisibility…
That's another option…
I see the need for exhaustive field trials of each of these pain killers... all in the name of science, you understand... hey, it's a tough job, but

I've had BF dreams off and on since '84 when i was followed, but an interesting thing has happened in the last 6 months or so.
Now, instead of being some terrifying boogie man who used to scare the Hell out of me from the shadows and scare me awake right before he stepped out into the light, it's more like I'm on some great adventure-
I'll hear a big branch snap, or hear the leaves crunch, and BAM I spin around and see the branches closing back where he just was, next thing you know, I'm off running after him with a camera in one hand and my Desert Eagle in the other! I run through the woods like Daniel Day Lewis in "Last of the Mohicans", but I can never catch up to him, and he always gets away.

Oh man dont get me started.
Ive been having dreams of squatch for as long as I can remember.Almost every night.
At least 25 yrs.
They have evolved from very scary to being best friends.Back to scary(when I saw one for real).
The last few have been going back to friendly.
Since my sighting, the dreams have been mostly knowing its out in the back yard at my parents place and trying to get someone else there to see it and believe me.Although in real life,my family believes me.
A recent one I remember vividly was me standing at a window knowing that it was looking in another window. The window I was at was overlooking the other window.
I quickly opened the blind and snapped a picture.
Much to the surprise of the subject. It looked dejected and walked off.
The only one I've had since then was that it came out of the shadows and was not bigfoot at all but a big dark woman.I told her she could come back for a picture later and she just laughed.
Reading reports right before bed doesnt make me dream about it.Its funny it seems those are the only nights I dont dream about it.

I've only had one sasquatch dream that I can recall and it was more like being in a Discovery Channel documentary than anything else.
It's been over a year since I had this dream but the clarity and the "realness" of it are still vivid in my mind.
In my dream, I'm walking down a dirt road that parallels a large bayou or small bay. To my left, there is about 150 yards of sawgrass before the beginning of the water and to my right there is a virtual sea of sawgrass interspersed with oak hammocks.
As I'm walking down this road I suddenly catch movement about sixty yards away to my left. I then realize that there are three sasquatch encircling a deer. The description of these sasquatch are as follows. They were roughly between six and seven feet tall, all of them are jet black, they have what could only be described as "manes" crowning their heads and shoulders, they were extremely broad across the shoulders and much narrower at the waist. Their arms were longer than a humans and their legs appeared rather long as well.
None of them appeared to notice me as their attention was solely on the deer. It was very apparent that they were hunting. The deer would attempt to bolt in one direction but before it could get away one of the squatch would cut off it's escape. They moved very quickly and they would occassionally drop down on all fours in order to corner and manuveur better. They slowly got closer and closer to the deer until finally one of them managed to get hold of it and it disappeared in the sawgrass. I could see two of the sasquatchs flailing their arms up and down, apparently pummeling the deer to death.
Shortly after, the one that had gotten hold of the deer first stood up, flung the deer over it's shoulder and proceeded to walk parallel with the road I was on with one of it's comrades in tow. The third squatch seemed to be interested in the spot where the deer had been killed because I could see it squatted down in the sawgrass. The other two walked about 100 yards in front of me and then crossed the road, heading in the direction of the oak hammocks. All this time, none of them had seemed to notice me but as I looked back to the third one that was squatted down, it suddenly looked straight at me and began to charge directly towards me with blinding speed. I remember thinking to myself, "Oh shit! This ain't gonna' be good." but when the squatch got about 20 feet from the road it suddenly turned and continued running parallel to the road until it got to the point where it's buddies had crossed already and then it too crossed the road and caught up to the other two.
They then walked off into one of the oak hammocks and disappeared.
That's when I woke up.

Whoa Fish... guess you dream in color

I don't get em. Just don't. I used to and the one I had that stands above the rest was when I was a kid. I dreamed that I was hiding in a hollow log. my biggest fear was the three that were walking around
were eventually going to discover me. My hope was that one of them wouldn't drop on its hands and knees and stare at me as I laid hidden in that hollow log. Luckily in the dream, it never did as at that time I was a rather nervous guy all the time growing up thinking about these things. Another dream I had was climbing a bluff to go up and take a picture and enjoy the view. What happened was I was just about to the top, put my hands on the last ledge to get over, pulled myself up, and then looked over to see one standing there watching me, with my eyes fixed on its feet and ankles, I was too terrified to look up at it.
So I didn't. then I woke up. Pretty pansy dreams but still at the time, really made me nervous. Seems like I had one that was decent in the last year or so but it was so boring I completely forgot about it.

i had a bad nitemare while i was camping out one nite. if i eat anything with cucmbers or bell peppers i tend to have nitemares.
but, this one scared me so bad i didn't go camping for the rest of the year. i dreamed i was asleep, nice and snug inside the tent. i heard something being thrown at the tent, when i woke to see what was going on, suddenly the tent was being ripped, then i saw this hairy creature, had to be at least 12 ft tall, high pitch screaming, the blood started splattering, then i realized it was my blood. then i woke up sweating and shaking from fear, i couldn't sleep the rest of the nite, and i packed up and left the next morning, never even went back to that spot again.

I heard on the Galloping Gourmet... you know the one, Graham Kerr... lots of fun to watch before he reformed...

But now that you mention it... I'm not entirely certain he

wow, i thought i was the only one. mine are very lucid and some are terrifying and some are not. i had one several times of my bro and i walking throught the woods and a huge black bear come through some bushes and we dropp our gear and whipped our swords and readyied ourselves for battle, just the a young male bf(about 17yrs old) charges through another bush and attacks the bear. bear clamps onto it arm and the bf is trying to pound it and my bro and i charge in and start whacking hte bear. after the bear died, i start dressing the sas wound and my bro filming it. a few secs later a group of sasess come in to the area and look at the wound and then us. THe was scary. then the young one starts to squak and gurggling and (talking bf), the group looks at the bear and relizes we helped him(only if they knew) well they littarly invited us and made us follow them to a secluded valley where tons of them were. spent a few days with them and then i wake up. the others are too scary to talk about and you all might think im completely nuts.

When I was a kid I had a recurring nightmare where bigfoot was chasing me

, getting closer and closer with every step. The chase started in the woods, went through a suburban neighborhood, and then across a huge field that ended at a huge Grand Canyon style cliff. This is where he always caught me. He'd pick me up and drop kick me off the edge of the cliff. As I plummeted towards the ground I would wake up in a cold sweat. Not Fun!
I guess I had that dream about 6 - 10 times and I know exactly where it came from. There was at least one episode of the Six Million Dollar Man (Gentlemen, we can rebuild him!) where there is some kind of robotic bigfoot. That planted the seed in my subconscious. The bigfoot in my dreams was the same as the show.

I had two recurring nightmares as a child.
The first one started off with my whole family calmly picking apples from an apple tree that was loaded down with them. Then this "monster" (what I thought of it as a kid) comes out of nowhere and starts chasing us while screaming at us.
I run home so fast that I don't look back once and hide between the couch and the wall while all the while I can still hear it outside.Man, how I hated that nightmare...
The second one is just my mother standing at the kitchen sink with this window above it where in my dream she kept vitamins for me and my sister in the window sill. It's nighttime and she is giving me a vitamin before I go to bed. All of sudden the window frame starts bending outwards and this hand with fingers reaches in the corner of it. The hand is black and creepy looking and that's all I can tell before I wake up.Yes....I was a disturbed child...LOL

I have had two BF dreams. Both really stuck in my mind and I still can recall them clearly.
In the first one I am walking along a country road in late fall. There has been a snowfall and it's still on the dirt road and off to the side under the trees but there is bare ground too. I am wandering along and looking at the last of the autumn leaves and the snow. It is morning and the sun is shining. In front of me I see the prints of something that has crossed the road. I walk up and look and see huge bare human like foot prints. My heart starts to pound and I begin to follow the trail. Could it be? I find more prints and then, in the distance a shadow moves into sunlight for just a moment. BF! It sort of looks like a tall Patty but I am really excited and move closer. I see more tracks and another one moves at the tree line. They are paying no attention to me. I move closer to get a better look and ...I woke up.
The second dream I am visiting some estate, ringed by very dark forest. I am up on a high point, almost like a castle wall and it is twilight. Below me I watch the forest, thick and dark. Suddenly I see BF shadow figures moving among the trees. I am stunned. Then I grab my knapsack, run down the steps to the forest floor. For a moment I debate going in because I am by myself but I don't want to wait and miss seeing them. I decide to go in and move softly into the dark under the trees. Then I woke up.
In both dreams the BF were not hostile or concerned with me in any way. They were merely elusive, going about their own mysterious business and moving away from me into the woods.
Interesting stuff ya'll...
Personally, if I
do dream, I never remember them...

I've never seen one in real life, though I'd love to, but here's my one bigfoot dream that I remember vividly:
Several years ago was living out in the woods (AK). I dreamed that a little girl I knew at the time was visiting, helping me get the property ready for keeping horses. She was playing outside and I was in the house. I heard noises and looked out the window...a sasquatch, about 7 feet tall, covered with long brown hair, was helping her put up fence rails!! I felt a bit scared but mostly grateful that such a big strong creature was helping with the work. Also it was really neat to know there was a sasquatch in the area. The little girl was just sort of following it around as kids do. I felt like I needed to go outside and thank the sasquatch, but I also felt that it would be very difficult for me to approach. There was another adult in the house with me who told me not to go outside, I would get hurt. I put a couple of dog treats in my coat pocket and went out to where they were working. I made some kind of comment like, "Wow, this fence looks really good." As soon as the sasquatch saw me it stepped effortlessly over the fence and went into the woods. The little girl was all excited about the fence they'd built.
In the dream the impression I had of the sasquatch was definately more human than monkey-like; intelligent, possibly even wise, something like an extremely reclusive mountain man... yet at the same time it was an animal and therefore unpredictable, not tame, possibly dangerous, lived in the woods like an animal, and it ate animal food.
More puzzling than scary.

I've only ever had one BF- like dream.
In the dream I am the Sasquatch, and I'm following a group of people which includes me. I am watching them through the trees as they walk along a riverbank, towards the end of the dream I always run out at them, but they seem unafraid. Then I wake up.
I've had this dream several times, starting when I was in my early teens.

When I was little, I used to have a reocurring nightmare where I wake up and everybody is gone and the whole place is deserted. I look forever while scared to death, and can find nobody. I finally start to walk across the field to my Grandmothers house and when I arrive, I find out that everybody is in the house and has turned into big black werewolves like the ones in the movie "Howling"

. I can remember running back toward my house and I always would wake up about that time from the sheer terror of it all. Of course these nightmares started after the "barn" incident when I was little. It was late one evening, and we heard loud screams coming from somewhere outside. We all followed Dad out on the front porch, only to hear that something was in the barn loft screaming it's lungs out. The screams were long, loud, and creepy. The screams were just blood-curdling, and I have never heard anything like it before or since. That was the only time I had ever saw my Dad scared. He said he had never heard anything like that before, and he rushed us back into the house and said that he would go investigate the next day. We speculated on what it could be, and neither Dad nor Mom could come up with an answer. That sucked because any time something scared us they would have an answer for what it was, probably even if they had to make it up to calm us down. Not this time. He went the next day and investigated the hay loft where the screams were coming from but found nothing. I never went back to the barn alone for a long time after that. I will never forget that as long as I live.

As far as I can remember Stacy, that's the first time i've told that story on the open forum. Yeah, it was enough to scare the bejeebers outta me, thats for sure!

That is definently one of the reasons for my interest in the subject. That added with the fact that I was already deeply interested in those 70's documentaries on bigfoot

. Plus, around the same time, the discovery of unexplainable three toed tracks in the snow while horse back riding(well, pony back riding for me  ) on the back of our farm had a big effect on my developing interest.

I have had several bigfoot dreams. This is not unusual for me because I almost always dream about whatever was the last thing on my mind that day. If I played a specific video game or whatever book I read before bed will most likely be the subject of my dream. The one I remember most vividly is one where my husband and I are at my grandmothers house and there are a whole group of bigfoot outside trying to get in. It was kinda freaky. And I am saying "see that, they do exist" to my husband.
I dream nearly every night and I can usually remember them. Then everytime I get back in bed to go to sleep again I get this instant recall of what I dreamed the night before. Its weird. My dreams are almost always a mini movie with plot and everything. I hardly ever have scary ones and when I do its like I am conscience that its just a dream movie.

Hello everyone
I'm a newbie , but I have stopping bye every now and then to sneak a peak. I have not posted before due to the fact that my spelling and grammer in awlful and the fact that some of the things have have seen and felt would make me a laughing stock. but after going through some of post's i feel like I can post without being ridiculed or called a liar(maybe not believed ) but atleast given respect.any way.
I had a grandmother(who just recently died) that lived not far from me. I never spent many nights with her like my other grand parents house, but on a few occasons i/we (brother, sister) would. Now I have , as long as I can remember being fasinated by bigfoot(use to love the reruns of bigfoot and wildboy as a kid).
anyway I'm rambling. When I would spend the night at my grandmother P's I would always and I MEAN ALWAYS have the exact same dream, i mean to a tee the same dream. I'm talking atleast 15x that I can recal. the dream would be that ......,..........
dream.........
.it's dusk time . I am standing at the edge of the car port facing the wooded area across the drive way. like I said it's dusk but it's also slightly foggy(slightly). I'm looking out towards the woods when a Black haired bigfoot comes out of the woods towards me. I turn to run (maybe 10 feet) up 5 steps to get into the house But I'm running in slow motion.the bigfoot is getting closer. When the bigfoot is about 20 feet from me I wake up each and everytime at the same moment.
Now I realize that's not much of a dream but as a kid it use to freak me out.
Now dream two.
I had bought my Other grandparents house a few years after they died and almost 5 years after my bigfoot incounter once agian I had the exact same dream But I can only recall about 4 times having it.
dream 2.........it's at night BUT i can see like it's the day time. I'm awoken by my dogs barking . I step outside to see whats going on. I see some movement in the woods and hear grunting.the next thing I know I see bigfoots stepping out of the woods and popping up everywhere(like in harry and the henderson) I turn to take roughly 3 steps to get back into the house and once agian i was moving in slow motion. I turn to look behind me and look face to face to what appears to a young gray haired bigfoot and i wake up.
once agian not much of a dream But It's just always been odd to me I always have the same one .Anyhoo sweet dreams those are mine
