Well, I've never been there so I can't tell you about the site you've chose to camp. But, I can welcome you to the BFF, if that's OK.

This is a forum, not a chat room, so sometimes you have to wait until people get a chance to read your posts before they can reply. smile.gif

You might just be on your own with the info you requested... I've never been there either... but please be sure to come back on here and post a report about the area... you've got me wondering now... dry.gif

I camped at Grand Ronde Lake, which is just a couple miles from Anthony Lake, 8 or 9 years ago. I didn't like Anthony's campsites (too "developed") and picked Grand Ronde which was much less crowded and more rustic.

The two things I remember most about that trip was 1) the drive up the mountain from North Powder, as the road snaked up higher and higher, until I began to see patches of snow off the road. This was in late July by the way. I remember thinking, Yikes, I might not be ready for this... and 2) one night there was a monster thunderstorm and the wind collapsed my tent.

Good luck! icon_razz.gif Actually I highly recommend the area, its fairly remote and very beautiful... keep your eyes peeled for the big guy.

i just drove by the area and saw the name, it looks like it could be a good place to start looking, but i had never been there to really check it out, so good luck on your camping trip.
