PRESS RELEASE

January Bigfoot Meeting Notice.

The now newsworthy Tom Biscardi, appearing almost daily in one paper or another, has agreed to come with his team to speak to the International Bigfoot Society meeting, Jan 27th, 2007. An informal dinner will precede Tom and his crew at 6 pm, the talk at 7 pm-9 pm.Free Admission.

Meeting will be at the usual Home Plate, 8501 North Lombard, Portland, Or. Come early to be sure and get a seat. Don't miss this meeting.

Tom plans to speak on recent adventures in New York, Wisconsin, Texas, and California, with emphasis on a new museum being developed in Arizona on the Apache Reservation. An amazing possible leg of a Bigfoot was found in Montana, and Texas has yielded an eight foot skeleton. Also he will have his latest film documentary, “Bigfoot Lives,” available. It will have new clips of Bigfoot...a white one from Ohio and a photo from New York.

The IBS January meeting was a great success...Tom and Java Bob giving a good portrayal of things they have done via video documentary, "Bigfoot Lives." There has apparently been some controversy concerning the finding of the large skeleton from Paris, TX. Seems Tom's crew was in the area and as the skeleton was unusual they were called in. Just photos were taken of the work in progress. A piece of bone was recovered for testing. C14 indicated 2900YBP, mitochondrial DNA indicated the skeleton was closely related to Homo eredtus. Remaining material was returned after copy/casting due to NAGPRA and other federal regulations.
There will be a reality type TV series; two museums are planned...one on Fishermans Wharf, CA; another at White Mt Apache Nation, Sholow, AZ. Some really new hi-tech equipment will be tried...one a low-frequency reciever (in case this is a BF communication system).
Other stuff...photos and video of BF, and most interesting...an articulated leg that a dog had retrieved in Montana near Glacier NP. Thought at first to be a young Bigfoot due to the nails instead of claws, it has been identified as an extinct blanket beaver. Guess is that melting of glaciers has released the thing.
Those of you who haven't seen the Bigfoot Lives video are missing something...but, it will be written up in the Track Record with some b/w photos.

Ray - I see you don't post much here and may not see this, but as a professional archaeologist/anthropologist, I can assure 100% that if the DNA test came back as being close to Homo Erectus, NAGPRA would not apply and the artifacts would not have had to be returned. If he's got the DNA test, let's see it.... but I suspect as usual, Biscardi is telling stories to cover up unethical behavior and activities.
