Better than yr average Blobsquatch Video (as I posted there). Presumably a hoax. Lacking are any details about the time, place, events leading up to the 'sighting' etc. Also no comparison footage to show that the 'BF' wasn't a stump in the shadow etc. Just a bare bones video. Maybe that's the best way to hoax-give as little as possible and see if people want to believe so much they accept it. Penn & Teller were tripped up by the contradictions in the story their front man. Don't say anything and you can't be exposed. Not a very satisfactory prank though if that's what it is.

On the less skeptical side, both 'BF' do appear to move. The larger one at the end of the shot seems to turn its 'head'. The one in the background has pretty obvious movement, seeming to turn and show a gorilla-like (or bear-like or guy in suit-like) hairy back. Kind of hard to see-look into the background to the right of the 'big one' and the movement becomes apparent. It appears to walk away from the viewer. I'm not sure that the 'background bf' and the circled 'bf' are one and the same as the movement and camera angle are so distracting. Maybe someone with computer skills can blow it up and find something interesting.

This is a good example of where consensus on the boards will be 'probable hoax' (I just labeled it so!), and shows the limitation of filmed 'proof'. Still, if the videotaper was reputable-obviously a judgement call-it might get filed as possible instead of being dumped into the circular file.

If only it had run out into the meadow!

Hi folks,...I havent been here in awhile and I found this footage on break.com and thought I should share this with all you fine folks. Im still a noob and am unable to post new topics and so I figure this was just as good as any. Give me your thoughts on this,Im leaning toward real genuine footage but I dont have the story behind this video and usually dont like to judge something by its cover. Anyway, here it is

Yeah, not sure what to make of this. The guy who watches the subject run across the road, seems to be pretty startled. He doesn't chase after it, he instead runs to the opposite side of the road in an attempt to see it again, he is either a very good actor or he was surprised.

Just not sure what to make of this though.

That footage is more interesting than the blobquatches in the other video...

I agree bushmaster, which is why I didn't use the word blobsquatch. It would be nice to have more information on the events leading up to the filming. I'm curious as to why this person was video taping at the time, there did not appear to be anything happening (that we see on the film) leading up to the event, was this person simply filming the area? Nature shots? What was the purpose? The area didn't seem all that scenic to me. The story before the event and after is what I would like to know.

It would be nice to have better images too (ahhh in a perfect world).

Obviously these hikers are under the influence or at least one them is. I wont presume as to what other activities they may have done besides consume alchohol on this peticular day.However I can't Imagine a few drunking hikers planning and successfuly carrying out such a hoax. But Im not about to conclude that it's not a hoax either,in the wake of the Sanoma footage.

Im very curious to which state or province, this took place because it looks to me like N California or maybe Oregon which is prime area as we all know. Im also curious about the audio on this footage,I can hear the cameramans footsteps but no hysterical comment's from either individual which also surprises me even more.

Maybe someone will have more info on this footage and clear up it's origins.

Id like to apologize to nightscream for taking his thread and using mine,Im hoping the moderator will fix this because I think something is definitively "their" in the your footage that was trying to hide behind that tree,I can see it's head turn and expose its face but I could not distinguish a second creature. You cant always expect your computer to reproduce the same clarity and pixel count from flash media players compared to the original footage.

Maybe a high end video card might give better results for viewing online media files but I'm not an expert in that area and think that it would make a better difference if we could view the original content (impossible!)lol,rather than online but thats a different subject matter.

Inconclusive on the first video, but I'd bet on shadowing. Why the camera is not somewhat level, bothers me a bit. I can see the shaded areas in question, but when the camera man is constantly on the move, the shaded portions can take on their own life. If the big one was a BF, I would have at least stayed there in one place to get some reasonable amount of movement of the proposed creature; if no movement, move in closer. Why stop the film? It's not like the creature ran away, therefore no more footage to be had.

I believe the second piece of footage to be a hoax. The creature has complete human proportions, IMHO. Either that, or it's a skinny BF with stunt growth problems in the arms.

There are things in your video that interest me as well. Your right, I also wouldn't presume to know what activities they had participated in earlier that day, you would want to interview them and get their story first.

I was frankly surprised by the reaction of the man. I would think if this was staged, the man would want to appear more "brave" and chase after it. He didn't he looked a bit startled.

I will watch the footage some more, I could not make out a face. Did you see anyway to contact the filmmaker? I didn't look around the site that much.

Sometimes Im not the sharpest tool in the shed and Ive now just realized what the term thread-jacking means,...lol.

Since im here,Id also like to mention a story Ive been meaning to inform somebody or someone here that may be of interest to this community. One day I sent an e-mail to a person around this same time last year to give my compliments to about a Bigfoot website and how a great job on keeping it updated on a regular basis and also mentioned it's great general database of news articles,sighting reports, ect.ect.

After introducing ourselves we we exchanged a couple of e-mails over the next few days in which we discussed things regarding sasquatch sightings and reports in or around the area I live (Quesnel B.C aka Cariboo Chilcolton) .What really caught me by surprise is when the person revealed to me a that a "dead bigfoot" was found by some local or locals near my area in a town called Penticton B.C and that researchers were currently there investigating the matter and the person also explained that it was in its late stages of decomposition and the the bones were found still fully intact.

I was completely blown away knowing I was informed with this new information and when I tried to contact the person several times after that for more questions, they never replied back or responded back to me again and so I gave up trying to correspond further. My town is 7 to 8 hours drive away or around 340 miles, (im guessing) to the town of Penticton which is in the Okanogon Valley,near the city of Kelowna which is not anywhere close to where I live.

However I must honestly say that some individuals within the Bigfoot community like to expell a little too much sensationalizm into their stories because I havent read or heard anything here or any other news agencies regarding skeletal remains of a sasquatch found "anywhere" in the past year. If anyone else here might have any new information about this story of a possible dead squatch,please feel free to tell us about it.
