Hi folks,

This "expert"s take on a sighting just made me laugh and shake my head all at the same time.

""Laurence Kirmayer, director of McGill University's division of social and transcultural psychiatry commented,"These things happen all the time, but we're surprised because we underestimate the power of imagination and the power of belief. Such sightings are typically cultural-specific.”""

Uhuh, cultural specific, that's why only white men, native americans, russians, chinese, malaysians, white australians, aboriginal australians, negros, indians, asians.... have reported seeing similar things. Dude must know a group of south sea islanders that never "saw" one or something to make statements like that :icon_bang:

Found that here...

I mean, even if somebody proves somehow that we're all just deluding ourselves and this creature is a phantom of the mind, THIS GUY IS STILL WRONG.

Although, if I get a good sighting and have the local rag interview me, I might just drop his name, "Oh reuters consulted this guy at McGill... " 'coz it's gonna leave me sounding better
