While at work today a friend told me about a Skunkape video that another employees saw somewhere. I didnt get to ask him where he saw it. The employee who saw it really isnt into this type of stuff but knew to tell my buddy about it.

From what I can gather. It was a video of a reddish/orange animal about the size of a man with long arms. It was allegedly sitting on a rock stunning a fish by smashing it onto the ground, then broke it open and put it in its mouth. The animal noticed the camera man and darted off. What struck me was the way he said it took off into the woods.

It threw its arms out and put both hands down and lauched off like a dog would do in a full run. He said its back feet landed where the hands where and it almost seemed to lauch itself out of there at a very high rate of speed. He said it did this until it was gone.

Anyone know anything of this?

That description of the running sounds really similar to what M.K. Davis saw.

Not sure I know of the video in question, but interested in hearing more about it.

SH, I haven't heard of this video but it sounds interesting. Think you might be able to find out where this friend of a friend saw it?

It's way out of my research range (for now), but I think that it would be an interesting video to watch.

Found this: Naples news (takes a minute to load) this morning.

The link on google is dated July 16, 2003 and the story "Revenge of the Skunkape" talks about video that was aired Sunday night. But the description doesn't seem to fit what was previously described to Skunkhunter. Plus it says the video was taken by David Shealy. I don't know if this is the same video......

Doesn't say anything about it knocking a fish around....
