The most interesting thing about this report besides the details is how unbiased the media coverage is. If this were to happen here in the states there would be a salacious headline and Vegas would have the over under at 20 on how many times Bigfoot would have been mentioned. It’s like they actually trust their audience to make their own conclusion without trying to lead them to a the answer that would best serve to see more papers.

What you mean is that our news is "Boring"

I agree. In Canada we all argue at dinner time what the news means and what they are trying to say to us...

hee hee

(At my house anyway)

I should think that the Canadian Mounties should be prodded to investigate in any case because even the most skeptical has to admit that the report evinces a non-typical predator kill -- what animal can take out a whole pack of tough sled dogs in just that way? Apparently the locals agree it is an aberation. So maybe it is a deranged person in which case there is a cruelty to animals case to investigate! Sometimes it is effective to get others to do the right thing for the wrong reasons! (Not an original thought but apt here I think!) I would suggest that you alert the relevant pet protection folks by telling them it looks suspiciously like a crime of animal cruelty. Get the dog people to force the mounties to investigate it on those grounds, and hopefully they will get a big dark hairy surprise.

By the way is this anywhere near the town in Manitoba with the crazy name where they grow legalized pot in caves? If so I could see this whole thing getting copmbined with that and made into a goofus story.

Thanks
