My buddy and I were driving down Bragg Road or "Ghost Road"; still daylight and my buddy brings my attention to a large creature running parrallel to the right of the road. I got split-second glimpse of the creature and was very-tall but what shocked me the most was how skinny the creature was. It had long-thin hair on its leggs and was about 8-9ft tall. Eventually the creature ran off when I tried to cut it off down a hunting road.

If thats anywhere near the northeast, folklore calls them wood devils, and they are tall, thin with grey hair. They aren't very nice as the stories go.

Um...you saw this when? Today?
Did "it" have hair anywhere else on its body?
What color was the hair?
I've read about "skinny" bigfoots before. I wonder if they're adolescent, malnourished, different kind of bigfoot, or what. Interesting.

Concerning the appearence of bigfoots - the creature seems to be very human-like in one way, none really look like the next bigfoot. Just like us humans do not compleatly resemble the guy/girl standing next to us.
If there is one problem with the P/G creature (real or not) is that it has become the standard by which some/most people concider what a bigfoot looks like. Some do seem to look like "Patty". While others have been discribed as shorter or taller. Thin or obeast. Not to mention color. And everything in between.
As far as the sighting report, I'm sitting here waiting for more details.

Too true, Bill. I know several reports from this neck of the woods that describe the creatures as being, lanky, thin, athletic, etc. And for anyone who's lived around here or visited in the middle of the summer, it's not hard to realize why they'd be that way.

I am planning on going to the Big Thicket camping in July or August. I will have to check this road out, maybe drive it a few times at different hours. Hope I see something, I will have my camera right by me ready to take pictures if I see something.
Anyone else here in Texas planning a trip to the Big Thicket this summer? Maybe we could meet up.
Only ten days left before I leave for N California, I can't wait!!!!!! Anyone going to be near Happy Camp the first two weeks of June?

It's too bad that the Bigfoot wasn't sending "pictures to your brain" so you would know where he was going. Or maybe it was a Dog-man or a Reptoid?

Stinky Man.....I'm one of the folks who have seen tall, slim white-haired sasquatches......mine generally seem to be in the neighborhood of 10-12 feet tall....old males, i believe.....billkirbywofb has it right .....lots of variety...as in humans......interestingly enough.....i've only seen one animal that was built like "Patty".....

Yea, some researchers like the TBRC might not appreciate me telling the rest of the world the location I see these things; because thats where they are doing their "SECRET" research.....I think they are doing it for their own benefit and not for scientific knowledge.. Yes the ROSIER UNIT is where many of these reasearchers go. I know this cause when I talk about the location they get VERY nervous and try to shut me up or TRY to make me look unreputible beacuse im young. Ive been deeper in those woods than any of those big beer belly rednecks could ever go. :new_thumbsupsmileyanim:

Also I will be in Houston sometime in July sooo IF you are up the challenge, the BIG THICKET challenge, let me know. Warning: It will be HOT, HUMID, UNBEARABLE, but hey, could you imagine a creature like this living anywhere else? Also bring a machete you will need it. For those of you who dont know.. The Big Thicket is the only place other than the Evergaldes in the U.S. that can be scientifically classified as a Jungle. Washington State Redwood forest aint got jack on the Thicket. BTW NO FIREARMS!!! We are a peacefull, jolly ol bunch of squatch-hunters and we are educated enough to understand these creatures will not harm us unless they sense fear. Animals can sense these things I am not trying to scare them off.

Dahinden also thought that something in the topography/angle made it look taller than it actually was.

of the tall, slim white-haired ones....3.........the sightings are posted here on the BFFs and were also in the Bigfoot Co-Op....i believe that they were in the 11-12+ range....the first one stood beside a 42 inch high reflector post which came just above its knees.......years later i watched the second one walk through a field ,through a ditch, up a bank and step over a barbed wire fence ,which proved to be chest high on me, like it wasn't even there........the third animal, about the same size, stood in the trees past the fence waiting for it........

I have read several reports that stated the Bigfoot creature they saw was not the huge barrel chested creature we picture, but surprisingly a rather skinny yet very tall creature like you say you saw. I would not discount your sighting just because it did not fit the typical paradigm. In fact I feel it makes the stories more plausible, that at least they saw something unusual and not making up a story.

I've had one report come in to my website last fall (2005) by two family members who witnessed a tall, thin squatch-like creature. They stated they could see the extreme upper body, shoulders and head above a large bush as it watched THEM, watching IT.
I stood behind the 'bush' and measured well over 7+ feet to be clear of being blocked. This was darker colored and not light as other's sightings were, but the outstanding thing that got their attention was the extreme height of the creature but not bulky or extra muscular: just 'thin'.

That's only cause he didn't have a chance to look em straight in the eye Craig (that's how that whole thing works, don'tcha know)...
:new_tiredsmiley:
And as for tall and thin, we've had a number of reports in my part of the state (Tennessee, for the record) of such individuals...
