Has MM made any statement since the episode aired?? What an idiot. Especially after he said this after the teaser was shown:

"Their claim is false. They didn’t have anything to do with the footage. They are just trying to get a buzz going about their show. They are trying to trick people into tuning into the program. It’s a ploy, don’t fall for it. They were trying desperately to license the Sonoma footage. Mark Nelson agreed that it wasn’t a good idea to let them have it. He would have OK’d it, and even encouraged it, if he would have been involved with them. He’s a real person, yet they say it was only a front on a web site. A clever route they are taking now … by claiming they shot it themselves in the Valley… They don’t live in the Valley. They live in Las Vegas, and work six nights per week there. They only have time to do voice-overs for their Showtime shows. Notice how they only showed the web version of the footage on their promo. That’s the best clue that they are full of crap. They would have showed the guy in the costume holding the mask in his arms. They would have shown clips of how they set up the footage. They would have shown Mark Nelson … the person that a few us spoke with … but they can only show what is available on the web, because that’s all they have. Keep in mind, as P&T see it, they are breaking no laws by perpetrating this hoax. The hoax is not the Sonoma footage itself, but rather their claim that they faked the Sonoma footage. They won’t go to jail for that, or get sued for that, but they will probably increase their ratings by making that claim. It’s a nicely clever ploy when you think about it … They know it will be difficult to show that they are lying. And any attempts to discredit their claims will only bring them attention as pranksters and help their ratings. So they are pranksters if they faked the footage, and they are pranskters if they did not fake the footage. Very clever. And Bigfoot do not exist, and all the witnesses over the centuries were lying or hallucinating the exact same things … or Penn and Teller are full of sh*t and trying to boost the ratings of their Showtime program ….Which is more likely?"

What's more likely is that your an IDIOT and a SCAM ARTIST!!!!

Here is page link to the BFRO Sonoma Video page that was archived thru google (of course MM's deleted the original page): http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:uDfUKp...us&ct=clnk&cd=1

Im not sure what he would say if he did respond.

1. I was taking prescription medication - and didnt realize what I was saying.

2. I was having personal issues which affected my judgment.

3. OOPS.. I did it again.

This guy is such a scammer it burns me up.

On his "personal use" forums he has obviously jaded rules like "All Usernames must be part of your actual name..." and "Everyone must introduce themselves and who they are before posting" - like DUH he is obviously afraid of ex-BFRO or other experts posting things that expose his scam.

Secondly, he writes under anonymous names on there to trick the uninitiated...for example:

*Yesterday I read a discussion from a guy who was interested in going on an expedition but couldn't afford the 400.00 fee as he said he lives on social security. Then "Bouncer1" (obviously MM cause it says 'Administrator' right under the username) says to the effect 'I used to think the same thing but I valued my titanic quest so much that I worked a part time job for x amount of time just to save up enough to go on one of these expeditions...and it was worth every penny!'

(I had to paraphrase it because now in one day its been erased).

Oh, you must've missed that post. Anyone, let me say that again, ANYONE that's ever been on a bfro expedition, can be an administrator on his message board. Somewhere it says when you join, if you're a past participant of an expedition, you may already have an administrator account set up for you. I think the last time I counted, there were 15 administrators on the board! :new_lmaosmiley: See, that's the new bonus package! At first, he just had expeditions. Then, after he forced all his curators and investigators out of his org, he set up the new policy. Join an expedition and become a curator/investigator all at one time! NOW, you not only get the expedition/investigator package, they've also thrown in the "you get to be an administrator of my message board". Heck, I think it's a great deal. Better than anything Ron Popeil ever tried selling.

Wonder when the infomercial is going to come out.

How many expeditions do you have to go on to get the secret decoder ring or the t-shirt that says "I went on a BFRO Expedition and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!"?

Sorry I usually dont pile on and :anim_horse: ...but the spirit moved me.

You've only got to attend one. The downside is they'll run you another two hundred clams along with the expedition fee. :new_lmaosmiley:
