"The Giants of Patagonia"
Josh Bernstein joins paleontologists in Patagonia
Tuns out that Patagonia translates to 'big feet'. Josh, who doesn't play a very good Indiana Jones, went looking for 'hairy giants' in Patagonia, and thought they may be bigfoot. Even early maps indicate 'giants' everywhere. However, an anthro theorized that what the explorers saw were merely cpaes made of thick fur which made people look larger. Rest of show rationalized that a giant (20') sloth living around 10,000 years ago was responsible for footprints and the rest of the legend.

Yep, that was the HC's Digging for the Truth with Josh Bernstein- and you're right, he tries way too hard to be Indiana Jones. The show touched upon cryptozoology and some interesting research behind surviving Milodons, but overall I wasn't too impressed. They basically just dropped Bigfoot's name to grab any kind of connection to a hairy biped, and I'm sure I heard something like "Milodon fever gripped the country"...
