In regards to this report from the Wishkah Rd on the north edge of Aberdeen, WA.(see below).
In the late 80’s my late brother and former sister in law nearly hit a sasquatch on the Wishkah Rd about 2 miles to the north from this report.
I was telling him about my sighting up at Quinault and he then told me about their sighting on the Wishkah RD. At first I thought he was pulling my leg then realized he was being truthful. His wife backed up his statement. He said they were traveling north on the Wishkah Rd. that right where the crick travels under the road by Ellisons he had to slam on the brakes to keep from hitting it as it crossed the road right in front of them. They missed it by several feet. It was startled and was hurriedly trying to get across in front of him. She said it had its arms stretched out in front of him and the hair was hanging down from his arms like tassels from a leather jacket. It crossed west to east across the road. The river is right there next to the road so it probable went into the river. Once it was out of the headlights they could no longer see it.
They were freaked out so he punched it and got the heck out of there. The next morning when they recalled what happened they drove back to investigate. They located their skid marks right where the culvert passes under the road. My brother went down the bank to look for tracks he looked in the culvert and there was a puppy cowering in the culvert which he snatch up and took home. If I remember right he had to do a bit of coxing to get the pup to come out. I don’t recall if he seen any tracts. That's all I remember and I am speculating it happened the same night. The time frame is there. If BFRO Investigator Paul Grave wants to contact me I can give him contact information for my former sister in law.

Night time sighting along B Street outside Aberdeen
------------------------------------------------------------------------
YEAR: 1984
SEASON: Summer
MONTH: July
STATE: Washington
COUNTY: Grays Harbor County
LOCATION DETAILS: The location was on 'B' street in Aberdeen. Coming from Whishkah towards Aberdeen, he would have been on the right hand side of the street. Like he had just crossed from being at the river, maybe.
NEAREST TOWN: Aberdeen
NEAREST ROAD: B street
OBSERVED: Driving home around 3AM returning from my sister's house, I came around the bend on 'B' Street in Aberdeen, after (Stewart?) Park, when I saw a huge upright figure with dark fur.
It seemed like it probably had just come from the river side of the road, and didn't seem too concerned that I was driving past. It was watching me pass the same as I was watching it. I was in disbelief, and didn't even think to stop, or even wake my then boyfriend.
I know this figure wasn't a bear, I know that it wasn't just a huge man in a fur coat. I do know that what I saw was a Sasquatch.
Since it was dark, the only real description I can give is that it was huge, probably around 7', it was mostly upright, with a slight slouch, and the fur looked somewhat matted.
OTHER WITNESSES: Only me. My son and then boyfriend were both sleeping.
TIME AND CONDITIONS: It was 3AM, the lighting conditions, were probably headlights, and maybe a lightpole. The weather was clear.
ENVIRONMENT: I believe the river isn't too far, it was 1984, so the area was a lot more wooded than it may be now.

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Paul Graves:
I talked to the witness for a good long while about her sighting, and even though her sighting took place more than 20 years ago she was happy to talk to someone that is still investigating and researching the subject.
She stated that at very first when she saw it, it looked like it had just crossed the road as she came around a slight curve. The fur reminded her of a old matted fur coat at first, untill she saw that it was all over it's legs and head. The body was about medium build in her estimate.
It walked very non-chalant, not in a hurry. It was too dark to make out any facial features, but it did look at her momentarly, then slightly turned away from her, allthough she was only a street width away from it, she got a very good look at the rest of it. It was very tall (6 1/2 to 7 feet in her estiments), and very dark colored.
She kept on driving buy with not stoping to investigate. She said she often thinks about it, like it just happened yesterday.
