I think it would be best to make a thread on this, and split it from the existing thread. Sorry Squatchworks for hijacking your thread.

I guess what we need to do is (1) Find out how many people from the Central Washington State area are interested in getting together sometime and talk about The Big Guy. (2) find out which date would fit into most of our schedules. (3) Find a place with a private room (if possible) in keeping with the number of people expected.

Again what I am thinking of is meeting at a pizza place or something like that and order off the menu. Unless we get a bunch of people from the north or south, I would segest the Sunnyside area. As it would be the most centralized local between Yakima and the Tri-Cities.

If interested, P.M. me or respond thru this thread with the date that would work best for you. And we will do our best to accomodate you. See if we can get something going in the next 2 weeks or so.

Nighthunter, it seems that location is mostly what gets responses from trying to get a meeting or outing together. I believe that most of the folks that responded to your thread were from the westside of Washington. The list that I have seen from this thread are from the eastside of Washington.

still interested in such a meeting , soon it would be impossible due to my work demands ,but i have a sense there is afew of us in the close proximinity that would be interested, those of us from tri-cities and good old yaki-vegas should decide what is easy and doable for us all, not need to be a big deal just easy and low key, i think we all would be interested in meeting people w/ like minded experinces ,somewhere in the middle would be fine i.e. sunnyside,let me know what you think

Right now all I need is a date from those who may have a conflict. If Washingtonape can give a day, I think the rest of us can plan around his work schedule.

We will be getting together next THURSDAY, FEB. 16th at the Pizza Hut (2000 Vakima Valley Highway) in Sunnyside, WA. Starting time will be at 6:30. We will just grab a table and order off the menu. We welcome all BFF members in the greater Central Washington State area.

Kevin- we are leaving next thurs. will be in our area of interest until mid-day sun. I dont like putting out area over net. I spoke to ur son tonight, will call in the am. I would love to have u come with. So far there are 3 other soldiers I was deployed with, a soldier from 1st group, Mel and Kelly. Mel might be having two more individuals come with, I am not sure on them though. So, with that said there will be between 7 to 10 personnel on this trip. And no one is paying for it, WOW. We need u to come with us, u will be an asset to the team. Will speak to u in the am- jacob
